Medic/cop chat confidentiality

I think there should be a rule which states that medic and cop chat should be confidential, today we were making plans in cop chat to attack someone, and all of a sudden a cop announces it on main chat that we are coming there, as he had seen the cop chat, compromising our plans. It shouldnt be allowed, what do you all think?

It is not allowed as far as i know.
You can´t reveal team chat to the public chat, if somebody does so then he is supposed to get punished unless some admin decided to say this is allowed.

If a cop is leaking teamchat and is clearly not attacking criminals, then it is obvious he is helping them, its information crucial to the wanted. A good plan planned in teamchat can result in a good ambush for most wanted, if you are gonna leak the chat and get other officers killed by wanted suspects then you should be banned from being a cop.

Nobody can escape their sins, everyone gets punished whether it takes a day or an eternity.
You can change who you are, but you cannot run from yourself.

Oh yeah, then remove the bribe feature too, since you are helping criminals get out of jail/ get innocent instantly.
There are always corrupt cops in the team, if you really want to keep it confidential, you can always use /pm or call them at one place and use /s or /w.
I don't think there is a need of this rule. -1

Teaming up with criminals is also being corrupt, should it not be punishable? What's the difference of helping the criminals with actions or information? Teaming is teaming.

Teaming with criminals is not allowing other cops to arrest/kill them or discriminating between other criminals by not attacking a specific group, and this is totally punishable.

Whereas sharing cop radio's so called Confidential chat, is not punishable because you can share the same info using /pm or /s or via discord voice chat. Also, it's not so important, since most cops are unable to comprehend or are busy at something else.

Also medics and firefighters can see the cop radio and if a civilian is near a cop giving commands, they can see it too. I don't know why are you so bothered about this...  ::) There's absolutely no need of this.

As for both the same rules apply, in regards to teaming with criminals, I don't see the use of that. It's not that it is any advantage or disadvantage for either of them, to read each others messages.

At the same time. If either of them is sharing information from the cop radio, with any criminals, to give them an advantage over cops that looks a lot like teaming. It's not the duty of a cop to help criminals and there's also no reason to do so. (e.g. unlike accepting a bribe.)

And if some cop uses PM to disclose what is being spoken in cop chat, im sure that wont go unnoticed, and the player can be punished.
