Police ten-codes are a quick way to convey information as a police officer (or anyone else). Sending a ten-code in chat will append its representation after it. For example saying '10-69' in chat will appear as '10-69 (Sexual assault)'.
This can be used in combination with quick-strings (see other guide - COMING SOON) to convey information even faster. For example saying '10-72 ($sus) in $loc' will turn into '10-72 (Prisoner in custody) (James - ID 5) in Market (LS)'.
