Version 2.3



Introduction
Version 2.3 has been in development for a while, and I’m really excited to finally share it with you.
While progress was slower at times, I’m proud of what’s been achieved in this update and I hope you enjoy exploring everything that’s been added and improved.

PROPERTY BASEMENT WEED GROWING
Most properties now have accessible basements, in which a weed growing operation can be run.
You'll need to pay upfront for equipment and supplies, visit often to manage the operation, and then sell the end product for a profit.
To get started, simply enter one of your owned properties and find the door to the basement (red arrow).

WEED GRADES
There are now three 'grades' (quality levels) for weed. The higher the grade, the more it is worth. It does not (currently) affect the effect.
   - Grade A: Highest quality, grown by professionals, only sold by dealers.
   - Grade B: Medium quality, grown by players in basements.
   - Grade C: Low quality, grown by players outside.

These are separate items in your inventory, and you can carry 50 of each.

SAN ANDREAS ARMY
The San Andreas Army is finally recruiting!
Army personnel are tasked with taking down Most Wanted suspects, and can make exclusive use of the Rustler and Seasparrow for this.
Army personnel can also carry 10 grenades instead of the 5 that regular players can carry.

You must meet the following requirements to enrol in the SA Army:
   - Rank 10 police officer.
   - Player level 100.
   - Maximum weapon skill for all weapons.
   - Complete 'Target Practice' challenge (see below).
   - Complete 'Recruitment test' (see below).
   - No active bans, infractions, or PSOs.

NOTE: Players that abuse their role in the Army (or fail to fulfill their duties) will be dismissed and possibly barred from returning.
Players will also be dismissed from the Army after 28 days of inactivity and be required to retake the recruitment test in order to rejoin.

NEW PROPERTIES
232 new properties have been added all over San Andreas. These vary from trailers to mansions and more.
Highlights include missing Paradiso mansions in SF, the Las Brujas "ghost town" in the Las Venturas desert, a few condos/apartments in Los Santos, and many small cabins/shacks all around San Andreas.

LAS BRUJAS GHOST TOWN
Las Brujas - common referred to as the "Ghost Town" in the Las Venturas desert - has had some additions: a saloon, bank, vehicle storage garage, and some properties.
This gives it a bit more of a purpose and makes it more worth visiting.

WALKING STYLES [BETA]
Donators are now able to set a custom walking style animation (/walk). Styles include standard, muscular, fat, old, gang, feminine, and more.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a BETA feature, which means it may be buggy or not work perfectly. It's very difficult to get this to work smoothly in SA-MP.
Improvements will be made in future updates but be aware it can be very glitchy and lead to disadvantages.
It may be disabled/removed at any time if we deem it not suitable.

TARGET PRACTICE CHALLENGE
A new challenge has been added: Target Practice.
There are 50 targets within Big Smoke's Crack Palace that you need to quickly eliminate.
Passing this is one of the requirements to be eligible to join the San Andreas Army.

PLAYER BIRTHDAYS
Players can now set their /birthday and get a reward when it's their special day!
This is also now used for gambling 18+ confirmation, which will no longer need to be confirmed each time.

PRICES ADJUSTMENTS
Prices across MCNR have been reviewed:
- Significant price increases for many vehicles, especially at the higher end.
- Minor price increases for some items and services.
- Some significant increases to payouts for robberies and activities.
- More ways to earn and spend money are always planned for future updates. We will continue to review and adjust prices with future updates.

TRIVIA QUIZ
- A new GTA SA 'Trivia quiz' has been added (/trivia). This existed but was unused for many years and just needed some finishing touches.
- This sits on a new 'quiz system' framework and more quizzes may be added in the future.
- One such planned feature is a 'police test' before players can become a cop, to ensure they know the rules.
- This 'quiz system' is also used for the new Army Recruitment Test.

EMAILS
- Players now get a $10,000 bonus for verifying their email address (/email).
- Passwords can now be reset via email if forgotten.
- Players will now receive an email when name change requests are approved, rejected, or expire.
- More features are planned, including One Time Passcode login, account notifications, and emails regarding events etc.
   - Non-important emails will be opt-in, however important account-related emails (such as OPT login codes) will always be sent.

EMOTE ANIMATION SHORTCUTS
- It is now possible to set up an 'emote animation shortcut'. This allows you to quickly play a chosen animation.
- Use /emoteset and /emoteset2 to set your primary and secondary emotes.
- Use your emote animations with /emote and /emote2.
- You can assign a button press to play your emote(s) through /shortcuts.

CARGO PILOT JOB
A Cargo Pilot side-job can now be done at the active city airport.
A cargo manifest will be generated at midnight each game day, and the cargo affects the value and the mission payout. Payouts can be very high depending on the cargo.
It can only be attempted once per real day.

AREA JAMMER
Area Jammer item that can block everyone's radar within a small radius once deployed at a location.
   - Purchase from Zero RC. Lasts 5 minutes.
   - It affects everyone, including the player that deployed it.
   - It cannot be used by public service workers.
   - It's removed if the deployer leaves the server.

KEVLAR VEST
Kevlar Vest item can be purchased from Ammunation to boost armor at any time.
   - It's also given in the Combat Plus Bundle supply drop.

QUICK ACTIONS [BETA]
It's now possible to assign 'quick actions' to some key presses:
   - Different actions can be assigned to: AIM (RMB), N, H, and WALK (LALT).
   - Some keys support different actions on single press, double press, and hold. Keys can have different actions configured for civ and cop, and for on foot and in a vehicle.
   - Some keys have default values to mirror past actions (e.g. N will toggle headlights).
   - See /quickactions (/qa) for a list of actions to perform at any time.
   - check out the 'Key Shortcuts' category in /settings to customise your keybinds.
   - NOTE: This is a beta feature. Please report any issues you find.

ALSO NEW
- Vigilante bonus makes a return! Civilians can take down Most Wanted (red) suspects for a reward.
- Added /vehiclelist (/vlist) to list all vehicles that can be purchased, and where from. This can also be searched.
- Puking on a downed player will now kill them (just like /piss does).
- Donators can now see damage dealt to players above their heads (can be disabled in /settings 'Display' category).
- All Barber Shops and Tattoo Parlour locations have been added, which can be robbed (but not used for hair/tattoos).
- Helipads and helicopter spawns (and access doors) added to roof of All Saints General Hospital (LS) and Las Venturas Hospital.
- Added Flint County Gas Stop.
- Cops now get extra XP/score/payday when there is a low number of cops compared to civilians/criminals on the server.
   - This is to make it fair, because criminals get higher robbery payouts when there are more cops online.
- Added /pd shortcut alias for /payday.
- Added Bayside Sheriff to /gps.
- CPR revival is now an interactive minigame. The provider must tap a key at the correct rhythm to revive the patient.
- Added /mock to send 'mOcKiNg TeXt'.
- Added player stats (and weekly challenge) for gym equipment use.
- New quick-strings: $jail $day $players $activecity $nextcity $lotto.
- The 'Grand Theft Auto' achievement (stealing vehicles) has had a new tier added - 'Grand Theft Auto VI' - which requires you to steal 5,000 vehicles.
   - The existing tier V has been reduced from 5,000 vehicles to 2,500.
   - This makes the new tiers: 10, 100, 500, 1000, 2500, 5000.
- Added a Sweeper mission location on Dwayne Island (SF only).
- Various options have been added to the 'additional actions' section of the interaction menu, including planting and viewing weed plants, vieiwng/dropping weapons, and more.
- Added new custom licence plate colors: Teal, Lime, Mint.
- Vehicle dealership menu now has buttons for sort (by name or price), filter (cars, motorbikes, donator-exclusive), and search.
- An 'in-world' vehicle speedo can now be enabled in /settings (shortcut: '/set world_speedo').
- It is now possible for players to reset all their progress and assets with /reset.
- GPS can now be set to an active supply drop with '/gps supply'.
- There is now a prompt to press Y to sit on a bench when standing in front of one.
- Added search functionality to /help.
- Added search functionality to /anims.
- Some unused ten-codes have been added:
   10-79: Officer down
   10-78: Requesting backup (routine)
   10-39: High-speed vehicle spotted
   10-38: Officer under attack
   10-37: Suspicious activity
   10-36: Shots fired
   10-35: Pursuit initiated
   10-34: Civilian needs assistance
- Multi-language support has been added, however this is not currently populated or in use, but will be coming in a future update for core scripts to increase accessibility and reach.
- Added ladders around Easter Bay Chemical Plant.
- Added Palomino Creek Diner location.
- Various enhancements to Area 69, including enterable buildings, ability to disable the No-Fly Zone, CCTV system, and more.
- Added player stats for time listened to specific radio stations (audio plugin required).
- Maximum player level is now 1000. This will require 10 million score. Cash rewards will be given for each level passed.
- Added Ferry to/from Dwayne Island at Battery Point (Jizzy's Pleasure Domes).
- Added a button in the spawn selection screen to view a list, for quicker spawning.
- Added /fishlist to view a list of fish alongside their size, rarity, and value.
- Added player stats for time in cities.
- Added option to press 2 to restart a Time Trial in progress.
- You can now set a 'note' for friends, to remember who they are or why you're friends etc.
   - Simply select a friend from the /friends list to edit the note.
- New time trial: Coast to Coast (boat from Bayside to Ocean Docks, and vice-versa).
- You can now set a 'note' on personal vehicles. This can be seen in the vehicle management menu.
   - This could be useful to note a vehicle's mods, appearance, or purpose.
- Added player stats for using Medkit, Radar Jammer, Area Jammer, and Kevlar Vest.
- Added ability to set GPS to last death location.
- You can now use /eat to quickly eat any food in your inventory for a health boost.
   - This can also be assigned to the new Quick Action Shortcuts settings.




- /properties now shows more useful info, and total property count.
- Staff names/blips will now be the staff 'purple' color when god mode is activated ('on duty') or an event organiser.
- Player muscle level is now shown on-screen while using gym equipment.
- Lighthouses now only shown during night time.
- Plane/heli altimeter now highlighted red when flying too high to evade cops.
- Checkpoints with labels now hide the label once entered, as they were overlaid on dialogs etc.
- Command list has been updated (was forgotten last few updates).
- Property safes are now much faster to access, and the menu has been improved.
- Player information (/info /i) is now displayed in a textdraw with visual information, including showing the player's location on a map.
   - The old style can still be accessed by changing a /setting ('Display' category) or doing e.g. '/i mike 1'.
   - Skin/weapon/vehicle will update when they change. Loading these 'model previews' can lag some players, so this can be disabled in /settings ('Display' category). Everything else is updated once a second.
- Property 'For Sale' signs now show the amount, and are smaller.
- Armour pickups will no longer respond if the player's armour is already full.
- Players that are cuffed can no longer break another player out of jail.
- Added /sc short alias for /specialcargo.
- $wantedlevel ($wl) quick-string now shows police response type (ticket/arrest/most wanted).
- Carbomb garages now auto-withdraw funds from players' bank upon entering, just like Pay 'n' Spray and modshops.
- Pay 'n' Spray and carbomb garage transactions are now correctly logged in player transaction history.
- Discord chat echo will now show in-game player colors.
- /weapons is now a valid command to basically replace /dropweapon. It will show all your weapon slots, even empty ones.
- Various reductions in server-created object draw distances, to improve performance and reduce crashes and conflicts.
- Various texts now show comma-separated thousands values e.g. 1,234,567 instead of 1234567, which makes understanding the number units easier at a glance.
- Campfires will now heal players twice as fast.
- Campfires now expire after 30 minutes (was 10).
- The color palette for server chat messages has been toned down and adjusted across the board.
- A new supply drop can now be called when a flare is already deployed (it will be replaced).
- /headphones and /helmet will now automatically wear them if you only have one type, rather than showing a list.
- Shared keys (/givekeys) now save permanently. They can be revoked (by either player) with /keys.
   - It also allows property access, in addition to personal vehicles.
   - It also respects /ignore.
- The personal vehicle menu (/v) has been reorganised and improved.
- Scripted ladders (e.g. those around SF airport) now require a key press to climb (prevents accidental use).
- Selecting a command in the command list (/cmds) will now use said command.
- Added /findmission search (e.g. '/findmission sweeper').
- A few additional 'ambient vehicle spawns' have been added around the map in sparse areas.
- You cannot drop weapons inside of a fixed weapon duel match anymore.
- You must now crouch to steal supply drops, to ensure it is intentional.




- Cash awarded for repeating stunt jumps has been reduced significantly.
- Roof access markers (e.g. tall buildings, hospital helipads etc.) no longer appear in all worlds (including staff events).
- Moved SF hospital roof access marker to inner courtyard (more accessible, makes more sense).
- /vcolor now disabled on test drive vehicles.
- Player info labels (above heads) have had to be cut down, so things have been abbreviated.
- The color of the bank balance HUD text has been changed to blue.
   - This is to make it easier to identify and describe, and avoid confusion.
- Players can now be robbed for 25% of the cash in their wallet, with new maximum limits set to $250,000 when crouched and $200,000 when standing.
   - Adjusted the 'Con Artist' achievement to match new values.
- /(un)stuck primary command has been renamed to /rescue.
- /dropbag now works for safe robberies.
- Campfires cannot be placed near other players anymore.
- The /dropweapon command is now disabled during active duels.
- Many on-screen texts have been tweaked to look cleaner with shadows instead of outlines.
   - The old higher contrast outlined text can be enabled in /settings (Accessibility category).
- Cops can no longer cuff a suspect within 5 seconds of being damaged (increased from 3 seconds).
- The 'script changelogs' option has been moved to the 'other' section of the interaction menu.
- Some large on-screen texts have been changed to subtitle-style text as they are less intrusive. More will follow this style going forward.
- The bait shop in Rockshore West (LV) has been moved closer to the fishing spot.
- The ability to @mention other players in chat is now exclusive to donators.
   - Visit mikescnr.com/donate for info on donating to help support MCNR operations.
- Reduced campfire player burn radius.
- Hidden achievements (/hidach) now show the names, to give you a clue what they might be about.
   - Please note that a couple of these are currently unobtainable due to their features not being finished yet.
- Some vehicles have been made donator exclusive (to own).
   - Newly added: Baggage, Launch, Old Glendale, Old Sadler.
   - No longer available to purchase by non-donators: Stretch, BF Injection, Berkley's RC Van, Quad, Coastguard, Sandking, Cargobob, Raindance, Bandito.
- Supply drops have been made more expensive and slower. They are intended for emergency situations - not for convinient use every time you need ammo/health/armour. They are relied on too heavily.
- Tracking a player via GPS now costs ($500 upfront, $250 per minute thereafter).
- Armor pickups found around the map now only increase armor by 50%.




- Fixed medic CPR/revival skill/success not being set correctly on spawn.
- Fixed players respawning in staff events with no health.
- 'Engine broken, press 2 to call mechanic' subtitle now cleared correctly/immediately on repair.
- Fixed incorrect string displayed in 'Daily objective completed' chat message.
- Fixed cuffed players that are following a cop (/follow) being able to jump to break the animation.
- Fixed being unable to enter train carriages.
- Fixed daily objective for robbing a certain amount from banks not counting for cracking smaller bank safes.
- Fixed incorrect location string shown in /specialcargo.
- Fixed 'vehicle credits' not being able to be used for vehicles under $100k.
- Fixed gym dumbbell/barbell textures (wrong in base game).
   - Unfortunately not possible to fix once held by the player..
- Fixed being able to evade cops in a heli/plane flying high above the ground.
- Fixed players becoming stuck in the Lumberjack truck when the mission ends.
- Fixed all time stat leaderboards showing duplicate entries (per year instead of totals).
- Fixed property entry not working first time when owner grants a guest access (ring/knock door).
- Fixed /commendations showing 'From' as own player's name.
- Fixed being sometimes unable to discard inventory items.
- Fixed 'Sent to jail ('')' in /crimes. Will now show jail name.
- Fixed vending machines in certain interiors not working (banks, general store).
- Fixed cuffed players being attacked by Area 69 guards.
- Fixed Army players being attacked by Area 69 guards.
- Fixed bank manager/teller robbery not marked as a 'threat' crime.
- Fixed global map icons that are far away (e.g. GPS/objective destination) sometimes not showing.
- Moved ATM outside of Jizzy's Pleasure Domes (SF) as NPCs were blocking it.
- Fixed non-functioning ATMs inside 'small bank' interior.
- Fixed player objects attached to shoulders visible through Sniper scope.
- Fixed /(un)stuck being used while participating in a staff event.
- Fixed aircraft carrier moving platforms not being recognised as solid objects.
- Fixed not being able to put a space in the 'reason' when using /sendcash.
- Fixed using /unstuck while being jailed.
- Personal vehicle 'shortcodes' are no longer transferred to the buyer with /vsell.
   - This could result in the buyer having multiple shortcodes for different vehicles.
   - Anyone affected by this should change shortcodes to ensure they are unique per-vehicle.
- Fixed being able to spam /rob on a player who has no cash in their wallet.
- Fixed infinite free skin changes at the clothing store counter.
- Fixed personal vehicles list displaying a fuel level for bicycles.
- Fixed GPS to Bonus Vehicle not cleared when event ended, resulting in repeating message in chat about the event not being active as it tries to recalculate.
- Fixed non-donators being able to set coloured property names.
   - Existing names will not be cleared.
- Fixed error when trying to resend an email verification code (/email) within an hour.
- Fixed players dropping robbery bags and bank ID cards in duels.
- Fixed some dialogs being incorrectly closed at certain times.
- Fixed ten-codes being duplicated in commands such as /pm and showing as e.g. '10-4 (Affirmative) (Affirmative)'.
- Fixed low draw distance of Las Venturas Bank, and Chemosphere house in Los Santos.
- Fixed drug dealer interaction camera clipping into wall in East Los Santos.
- Fixed shooting range stats box wrongly formatted on failing.
- Fixed messages stating player is 'on desk duty' and cannot perform a task, when they are actually 'in a duel'.
- Fixed no crime being committed when threatening airport gate guard.
- Fixed missions not failing upon arrest.
- Fixed being unable to initiate a duel or friend invite with a player in a different world.

- Fixed server crash.
- Fixed weed crops not reaching 100% due to promotional growth rate multiplier.
- Fixed /properties list cut off if many properties owned.
- Fixed GPS player-tracker dialog closing if any player disconnected.
