Aren't snipers are long range weapons

I was using sniper from a range where i can easily see suspect named behindstealth he was mw ao i used sniper on him. I could easily see him getting into the animation of hit he wasnt getting dmg i shot more than 10 times and then i pmed him that did u lose some health he said no i didnt record due to high pl sorry but it was very often for me

Snipers are indeed long range weapons but it doesn't mean it can hit from 300 meters, maximum range for Sniper rifle is between 200-215 meters and 100 for country rifle.
