My suggestion is add car scrap/broken objects around the cities, highways just to add some realism, like when an accident happens or car explodes, we see scraps near roads, highways.
These scraps could have a feature as same like dumpster, player can search car scraps and find some items like water bottle, armour, weapons ammos, etc.
