Infinite ammo in duels

Title.
The point of duels is to avoid getting a wanted level plus preventing a cycle of revenge over and over. But what makes it worse, is that we use our own bought ammo during duels, and when we win a duel, we get nothing in return. What is the point of something like that, when we could just kill the guy in real time and cause more chaos than a peaceful duel where our ammo goes to waste. If we do end up getting infinite ammo during duels, people will be encouraged to practice in there more than often, without having to worry about losing ammo.

Good idea on a surface level but the way the current duel works is dissimilar to other servers:
We don't choose a single weapon to request a duel or whatever
We use the same weapons we had, which means if this was implemented, the script would have to set all your current weapon ammo to 9999 and then restore it at the end of the duel, unless there's a chosen preset (For example all duels have infinite uzi instead of whatever smg you had) but no one would like that, some people like to duel with a combat shotgun instead of a sawnoff

To keep it short, I'm not sure how easy this will be to implement and how we would plan on making it work: Maybe you get to choose a weapon for every category from a menu before sending the duel request, but this would cause disagreements between players Eg:"NO DONT CHOOSE UZI I WANT TEC9, RESEND DUEL, DENY" and whatever..

but other than that, if you guys think there's an easier way to implement this, I'm all for it, +1

so that way i see it being implemented.. is like the last man standing event staff members usually do
u join the event and u instantly have ur guns with max ammo

Hm... I don't think this is a good idea for the infinite ammo, sure, it can be easier for conserving cash more like that, but since it affects on your player stats, this would be an enormous advantage with infinite ammo, and people would be dueling more often just to farm their kills.

yes +1 was thinking why we dont have infinite ammo in duel but we got free armour and hp refill

Definitely +1 excellent suggestion for some fun in the server this would bring cops going off duty to fight in duels.

-1 Just lower penalties for fighting outside city ex. You only get wanted level for killing not some attempted murder type of crime +make wanted lvl to fade away easier. Will bring more diversity than one combat arena

it was all set up this way to act as a money pit for people to pour cash into buying guns and ammo and armor to use for fighting, something MCNR is severely lacking in. More arenas are coming in 1.15.
