Use of VPNs

We do not (and don't plan to) restrict the use of VPNs. We understand that some players can't connect without a VPN, and some players like to use them for privacy. However, we must warn players that when you connect to MCNR with a VPN, you may be sharing an IP address with other players.

If an IP is banned, all players using that IP will be affected. Therefore, we discourage the use of VPNs unless absolutely necessary (can't connect without).

There may be times when staff block all VPN connections temporarily. We'll only do this during attacks or in periods where we are dealing with serial ban evaders.

We can get the player on a voice call and guess their country based on their accent. Once we get the country right, we can contact local police to investigate who is the guy we're talking to. Very soon, we'll reach the culprit and verify if he's a multi or a newbie.

My favorite way was to grind an uc account for over 3 years, set its name to Jimmy, befriend some of the old players, make them tell me their secrets. After that i developed a text recognition software based on the nword. You can tell who is who by checking how they use the nword. The sperm taste test was only used after lily joined.
