I've spoke to alot of people regarding that. DMers or not, Majority said yes to removal. Do a public vote on discord or something. We are gonna fight for our rights and we back It up with approval of many people.

I'd rather see the cap raised to about 250fps, but you start to seriously fuck up the game when you go above 60fps, in a perfect world it should be capped at 60 - 75fps that most people can easily reach unless you're using a potato.

Make it fair for everyone, - but I do support raising the cap, not total removal.

Not fond of this suggestion, however, If this is ever going to be implemented, I at least ask the dev to check chainsaw DPS with 250+ fps, I think it might need a nerf since damage output depends on frame rate.
Immediate helicopter take off is a problem too, but at least it is something we can cope with.

Incorrect. Server only alters damage values, not the fire/hit rate. And since currently higher FPS doesn't affect damage values, but affect fire/hit rate, increasing fps leads to higher DPS

Well I played MCNR on 500 fps and there was no dmg difference at all.

Yeah. Normally you'd die to chainsaw in extremely quick time even on 130 fps so this isnt a thing to worry about

There's very little to no difference fire rate changes from 60 FPS or above.

pause -> settings -> frame limiter on -> /fpslimit 20 to become michael phelps

you already swim slow as fuck on 130 fps tho so doesnt really matter

All guns fire at the same speed, doesnt matter if youre on 500 fps or 100 fps

ima give u a video thats show that u barely shoot any faster.

This video shows it in a worse light since its 100 vs 700, but realistically the gap between 130 and 250 is even smaller than that.



In my testing, i found the gap to be about 4 milliseconds between the fire rates of TEC & M4. 4 millisecond gap is a generous number too, accounting for editing error it would be probably even smaller.

4 Millisecond difference (in reality probably 1-2 ms) is not noticable at all, and is not a proper reason for the fps to be capped. The myth that guns shoot faster on higher fps is ""true"" but in reality the gap is so miniscule, it makes literally 0 difference.

Typically, I find it quite indifferent to actually reject this following proposition. Since, the majority of the events are FPS based by this enormous game mechanic.

You're unable to take off the Skimmer? Just do it on a lower framerate.
Lower speed on boats? Take on your FPS limit.
Rarely taking fall damage? This is a server-sided damage based server, so there's no way to actually have the RNG on your side for this.
Pushing cars harder than the usual? Why does that one matter, nobody does that to actually take advantage, it's a useless thing to complain about.

Exactly, the "reasons" its limited at 120 are negligent and rarely apply in regular situations. How overpowered can pushing cars faster be when there is maybe 1 super niche situation where it benefits you.

Like howl mentioned, high fps does come at its own cost

My PC was good 7 years ago I have 8gb ram/2gb graphics/A10 Processor, but the PC through 7 years is slow, I guess my components are burned because every game freezes, fps drops hard and navigate on net is pretty is slow (is not a internet issue because I have 40/50 ping and speedtest is between 100/130 Mb per second in download and 70 upload.

when i launch my samp i get like 500 fps and when i get on mcnr i get like 40 fps max, when i start recording it goes down to 7fps and its locked there. My laptop is more than trash and on other servers i get no lag and even get like 100 fps in fights so i think fps should be unlocked to at least 180-200
