Why I no longer play here (1 being the most important and 4 being the least).
1. Sniper. I was forced to reload after every shot and if that was not annoying enough I was frozen during the reloading process.
Bad consequences: I was forced to play in a style I did not like, therefore forced me to abandon using a Sniper and instead resorted to other methods that I don't really like as much.
2. Real life. I had shit to do.
Shitty consequences: Not enough time for gaming (obviously).
3. Crews (criminals). I play solo in an environment where crews dominate (i.e. bank robberies and survival if you are MW), only way to beat crews is through cancerous methods that take a long time, but hey this is a game I want to spend time on while having fun.
Consequences: I opted out of being a criminal and became a cop most of my time. Cops have tazers and choppers which would help me fight off crews, so I was in luck and spent most of my time as cop.
4. Staff. Two bad encounters with admins and managers. SAMP is an aging game, I certainly did not think I would get into arguments with staff. But I guess players are not the only ones who struggle in admitting their mistakes and are not the only ones who try as much as they can to hide the smallest mistakes they do when they can. This is a game not real life.
Consequences: I lost trust in the Staff. Had it been pure abuse I would not have given it that much attention (to a point obviously), but it was pure stupidity which I couldn't tolerate while dealing with more important things that I mentioned above already.
Here is a suggestion:
How about criminals cannot kill Most Wanted players anymore? Even more, how about criminals cannot kill someone who has a bag of cash? This is a big start and motivation for cops to turn criminals...
Good consequences: More cops are likely to play as criminals as they feel more safe and free. Every criminal now can focus on dodging cops rather than dodging their fellow criminals.
Imagine your friend or crew mate committing suicide or quitting MCNR because they missed out on a bag of cash, hard to imagine right?
Imagine continuing to allow criminals to kill other criminals with the excuse or "reason" that they want their money bag for themselves or for their friends, hence more criminals intimidated and forced into going on duty no matter how experienced they are.
Imagine criminals killing MWs, hence motivating more players to go on duty because they need to limit their game-play to survive against criminals that think this is a DM server.
Now imagine criminals cannot hunt MWs and cannot kill others for a bag of cash, hence creating a competitive race in heists and robberies, and absolute focus on dodging ONLY cops. I am sure you can see that more cops will return to being criminals, and more criminals being out there it will feel more balanced more or less because inevitably cops will have a wider selection of criminals to go after rather than just a few.
Simply adding more things to do as criminals will not stop criminals from intimidating others into playing as cops. You need to focus on the root cause and believe it or not, more things to do might work, but temporarily.
