When a player report is filed on the new portal, the complainant is only offered to {#aa55ff}choose an existing account{/}. A problem arises when the player being reported {#aa55ff}has already changed their name{/}; the complainant is either discouraged from reporting altogether, or has to get creative, leading to cases like [this one](https://mikescnr.com/support/?view=ticket&id=530), where the player put a staff member's name in the `Reported Player` field.
I'm not sure if anyone on staff can change that field on a live ticket—but administrators certainly don't seem to be able to. And if we were, wouldn't that {#aa55ff}violate the reported player's name change confidentiality{/}?
So, what I'm suggesting is, {#aa55ff}let people select that account's old aliases on the reporting form{/}, then {#aa55ff}show that in the `Reported player` field{/} to the {#ffdd44}complainant{/}, and {#55ff55}staff{/} should be able to see the same account ID with the up-to-date alias.
