Police cars

Good day lads!

I would like to suggest changing some of the cop cars like Enforcer, Rancher, FBI truck and FBI rancher, maybe also SWAT tank.

Enforcer and FBI truck

Since they both should be used for some SWAT related  action, they would need an armor buff or more bullet resistance, because from my point of view, they count as some kind of armored vehicles. I have done some quick tests, and both cars have the same bullet resistance as regular cop cars, which doesn't make sense, so i suggest to buff their armor, so they don't go down that easy, and maybe  can actually be used for some roadblocks, bank raids , securicar escorts and maybe even some events. Maybe decrease their speed, so cops dont use them for chases and own everyone with ther armored enforcers. ( Just a balance idea)

Police rancher

Since its a SUV, it should be more sturdier then regular cop cruisers, so maybe give them like +5/10% armor/health buff, and do something about theri handling, because driving one of these in high speed chases, it feels like you are driving on a piece of soap.

FBI rancher

Since this also counts as some kind of special police vehicle, maybe also buff its armor a little, so there is some point for this vehicle.

SWAT tank

Hard to say about this one, since it counts as a "tank", more armor also is required, but since it has a water cannon, this may cause some issues on balancing side, so I will let Mike decide on this one.

Not sure if this count as closely-related things, but I had this idea the other day, maybe ad like some kind of Coast guard/Sheriff station at the Verona beach, where 2 Police Predators would be located, maybe some ranchers and even a police maverick, so they should be used for chases on water. This station wouldn't require a spawnpoint or cop-shop or anything like that. I have seen Police Predator spawning near SF police station, so that doesn't require any attention. Something should also be done about LV, since there is Bayside Sheriff department, which provide boats and chopper, but it is a long drive from Las-Venturas, so hard to say, or just make an option to spawn in Police Predator, which was already suggested.

I am not able to control vehicles' handling but I can look at increased health on spawn.

Also, would it be possible that some ( probably the higher ranking ones ) get bullet-proof tires by default?

Enforcer and police cars already have increased tire health. Bullet-resistant, not bullet-proof.

I think what he mean is Pursuit Unit such as bullet/infernus/uranus (as he said "higher ranking one") to have bullet-proof tires. I think bullet-proof isn't necessary and can be abused too,no. Civilian can get into PD on steal one of them out, and you'll be suggesting to remove them soon enough because you can't pop their tires.

Regular vehicles spawn with tire health of 5 (5 shots to pop). Regular police vehicles (including pursuit vehicles) have 10. Enforcer has 15. I think this is adequate for now.

As for increasing health, I would actually have to decrease damage rather than increase health as it would break things (e.g. using Pay 'n' Spray would set your vehicle's health to 1000, even if it was more to begin with).

I may look at making different vehicles have different 'armour' values AKA bullets do less damage, but I can't control the damage done by fire or driving into a wall, so..
