Title: Location/GPS blocker
Post by: Freshmane on July 15, 2023, 10:19:34 pm
Hi,
How about the criminals having the ability not to be located nor gps-ed by the police for max 1-2 (maybe more) minutes?  The civilians/criminals can purchase a device (/locblock or /locb after purchasing it) that could be sold in ammunation for 5.000$ or more?

Share your thoughts.

Actually the loc cmd doesn't make sense. It's better to remove it and bring a heart beat censor type which imo makes more sense than the current loc cmd.

+1 btw

Really like this idea.

Use of a signal blocker should amount to an additional wanted level (as use of a jammer would be a crime IRL).

This should appear to police officers as:
[CRIME] playername(ID) committed Unlawful Signal Interference near (Tierra Robada/Bone County/Las Venturas/San Fierro/Red County/Whetstone/Flint County/Los Santos)

I'm going to add this in the next update, however I'm going to make it rather expensive and limited to begin with and we'll see how it goes. I don't want it to be something everyone uses all the time as that's just dumb..

Not sure if I misunderstood the suggestion, but hopefully cops and robbers would be allowed to use this, not only criminals.
