I proposed this suggestion already back in April of 2023: https://mikescnr.com/forum/index.php/topic,14916.0.html
The topic was then moved to implemented some time after it, but after a lot of observations, I realized it actually wasn't implemented.
When you are during a fight, it gets annoying when there's a cop that appears out of nowhere and rams you (either on Rustler or a car) from the side while you are fighting another one. They usually appear in the last 3 seconds on the radar, and even this time isn't enough to react. Could you make the cops appear MUCH earlier on the radar? Tbh it's annoying to be constantly looking at radar in case you get rammed by a cop or attacked by a cop tank in Sultan. It's a quite serious matter.
For example, you can make police radar blips appear 2 miles away if they are operating an aircraft, and 1 mile away for land vehicles, and boats, and when a cops is on foot, etc.
These clips were filmed in the timeframe of 14.09 to 27.09.
You can see that cops appear too late and you can't react fast enough to do anything when they arrive depending on the scenario:
Timestamps of different occurrences (look at the radar):
1:17 got rammed by a low-rank cop
1:25 cop arrived to the rooftop and killed me
1:32 rustler kills almost everyone on the rooftop
1:38 got sniped by a cop on the skyscraper
1:47 that seasparrow came "out of nowhere"
1:57 got rammed by Rustler off the rooftop and died
2:07 got rammed by Rustler
2:16 that cop doing performing a stunt
2:25 those cops on a Bullet (wouldn't have done that stunt)

Yes he is right

yeah i think this is good so i have more time to run from 4 cops because i always look at the radar
-
I agree with Hank, blips should be visible from at least a few hundred metres away. It's unfair that you don't always know when more reinforcements are on their way until they arrive on the scene. Hank's clips are excellent examples.

-1 Cops are balanced
-
You're right on that bro, when one is fighting a cop,it gives other cops an advantage to win due to them getting ready for everything,I mean it's so annoying to realise a sea sparrow or either cop tank when they already started attacking you,so I'd say that police blips should appear from a mile away.
-
mike do it pls it really sucks that randomly 1000cops appeared on ur screen in a nick of a second pls show em a lil bit far away

+1 I massively agree, I've personally had situations where I would be fighting 1 cop and suddenly another cop appears out of no where and now I have a paranoia to constantly keep checking the map for any cops nearby or use the $cop command to keep a look out.

Couldn't care less but Hank Dm'd me on discord and MCNR is in my heart so +1

-1 Being a cop already has enough drawbacks. Criminals don't have alien technology to locate cops from 1923912939193 range. Why make a game more unbalanced than already it is? There's no need to make such features, just discourage people from being cops by making rich civ/crim gameplay (Sultan against new players so fun)
Not to mention that Hank is a weirdo and DM's me because I was in AI Hub server

i agree with hank in my past few years playing mcnr i see no cop coming so i get out and killing the only one following then out of no where i see 4 sultans (14-16) cops coming ramming me without even letting me get up the radar blip is very low i can see them when they are around the corner

It would be a
'Fix'

Totally agree and yes it should be vehicle-relative. For example, Planes can be visible in minimap within a radius of 3KM, Cars 1KM, On foot 200M. On foot cops are the only ones who might need this advantage. There's a reason the minimap exists, You need to know where other players are in order to play. The factor of unpredictability makes the game unplayable in many situations.
-
+1, range should be at least 500m to make it fair

This should be implemented next update. +1

I think the most experienced cops (Level 10 or something) appear only halfway from your radar's circumference and your actual location. That's why when you see a very blue dot on your radar they are like 250m from you, like Hank said. Should be the same when the cops are notified that they are near a MW or a 5-star suspect like 1KM before; the message is like "sigh on suspect ranja driving an infernus if you want call back up (/bk).". Should work both ways.

At least for SWAT class - absolutely yes.

The light blue and/or blue blips appearing on the radar system works incorrectly no matter what the rank a cop has in the first place. You can see in the first clip I get rammed by a low-rank cop who appeared milliseconds before hitting me on the radar.

I agree with Hank. I would say more but it seems everyone above have already read my mind. Therefore, I have nothing else to say.

I agree Cops radar visibility is a pain in the ass sometimes ofc a solid +1

Yaaa right +1

I totally agree with what hank says. I have experienced it many times when cops just come out of no where and completely destroyes me. Already cops have many advantages in the games and no matter what you say we can see all the time cops dominate the game.
-
1+ I agree, beacuse it will make your life easier instead of writting $cop constantly.
-
It's actually very annoying. I wish there was something like a GPS that you could buy from any store and when you used it, it would show you the police that has disappeared from your radar, even if it disappears when I die and I buy it again.

Agreed with hank +1

Blips will be adjusted heavily next update.
