Make It so there's no robbery cap on a person, but rather make it percentage. Let's say myth has 110m and walks around with It around freely, and the percentage I'd get is 10%. I'd get 11 millions from him, that would surely encourage people to store cash in alternate ways like safes which could also revive house robberies for example. The percentage could've been lower with more cash you have in hand, example 1-100k 33% 100-500k 20%, 500-1m 15% and any amout above 1m would be 10%

Considering the fact that many mfs are walking around with millions of cash in their hands, it would make sense to rob some of those too.

nah just cap it at 500k or smtn then atleast you would have some sort of incentive not to walk around with 100m in ur pocket

To be honest the actual suggestion given by @Ralsei is the most logical.
No one stores more than 5M$ in bank so they won't have to pay taxes and they don't even care about their 35-50K being robbed as you can also claim them back by killing the person. Even if you're not claiming the cash back, getting robbed by players is much better than being taxed and it motivate players to avoid bank.
Robbing a random %tage i.e. 6-12% or whatever is the most logical way because it'll give the players a reason to store their cash somewhere instead of keeping it in pocket.
And ofcourse the /rob command will be much more useful and logical.

Why do you need to "rebalance" the current system, just so you can get rich easily on a few dozen people that have millions?
You already get at least 50.000$ from rich players, which is about 2 bank robberies.

Nah this suggestion will never be considered by Mike.
Thanks that he raised up the max amount to 50.000$ and is fair enough because you can only store max 10.000.000 (5M in Bank avoid the taxes and 5M in house safe because the limite of houses you can own is 5 and you can put max 1M in house safe)

you guys are totally missing the point
if mike wants any sort of "realism", why would it make sense to walk around with 10 million dollars in your wallet?. make it actually worth it to use safes or bank to store your money. that's the point here

Exactly, what puuro is saying, this will also come with change to how money can be stored. Don't think that said myth will be doomed and get his remaining 80m robbed the hell out of it (5m in Bank and 5m inside each house safe so 25m) There just needs to be fine line between being able to store money in effective way and walking around with millions. You put yourself on a big risk. Irl If someone robs, you lose 100% so 10% is not even bad.

Sounds pretty obvious as an idea but none of this should be considered until players get an actual incentive to SPEND. 1 star from me for now, when our hard-earned cash is just sitting there without good investment plans, getting eaten up by the server and the petty muggers.

i got plenty incentive to spend it on bribes to get outta jail, and guns to get back into jail
