There has been a lot of petty complaints made in recent days over insults from different crews. You have to bear in mind that this is an online gaming community and insults are going to get thrown around from time to time. That being said, there is a line where your insults becomes harassment/flaming/discrimination.
- The use of 'f a g', 'f a g g o t' or 'gay' in a negative/pejorative way is strictly prohibited. These terms are not to be used as insults or in a negative light in any circumstance. Grow up and realise what century it is.
- Calling people nig**ers, instant ban. The word 'nigga' is ok in context, please see https://mikescnr.com/forum/index.php/topic,681.msg2440.html#msg2440.
- Using phrases that are likely to be interpreted as an attempt to say something else, such as 'nibbers' or'f4g.
- Attacking people's country, such as 'third world' is not allowed. This includes potentially or obviously negative comparisons or phrases, such as 'paki', 'kebab' and 'terrorist'.
- Attacking someone's religion or beliefs in any way.
- Threats to find/harm/kill somebody in real life is not allowed.
- Family insults are forbidden. Do not involve people's family in your insults. That's just childish.
There may be others as well, but I think the community members need to advocate for themselves and tell the other party if an insult is genuinely hurting them. They literally may not be aware that they are doing something that is seriously bothering you.
Staff will not be issuing infractions if the complaint is believed to be petty in nature and just seeking for a rival gang member to be punished just because of the crew they are in.
Repeat offenders doing petty complaints to get rival gang members in trouble may be punished. You have been warned.
