Account Recovery (Password Reset)

Introduction
Have you forgotten the password for your in-game account? Find out below ways to get back into your account.

With Discord Verification
If you have verified your Discord account and linked it with your in-game account, you can reset your in-game account password via Discord.
Simply message the MCNR bot with the command /password.

Without Discord Verification
If you did not previously verify your Discord account, the only way we can reset your password manually is if you can prove your identity. The only reliable way to do this is by your IP address. Your current IP address (which you are using to post from) must match (one of) the last IP address(es) used to login to your account recently.
Simply reply below and a member of staff will try to help you get back into your account.

Do not publicly post your IP address; staff can see it.

If your IP address has changed it's unlikely we'll be able to help you regain access to your account, but request help below and we'll see what we can do.
We have to prioritise security first, and can't just give you access to accounts we can't prove are yours.

IMPORTANT REMINDER: Password Security
Your MCNR password is there to prevent others playing on your account. You should use a strong (long, complex and no common words or phrases) password that cannot be easily guessed by others. It should still be memorable though.

A good idea for a long but memorable password is three or four words joined together with numbers/symbols mixed in. For example 'Right2RemainSilent!'. Passwords such as ‘NAf£&5ibf!@@85HRTjhu’ might be more complex but this isn’t helpful if you keep forgetting your password. This isn't your bank account.

Finally, and most importantly, NEVER use the same password on another server, website or account. If your password is the same on all your accounts, it only takes one to be comprimised for all your accounts to potentially be compromised...

Your email password should be your strongest and definitely unique, as email account access can give one access to reset any accounts associated with the email address.

I confirmed it was him with a matching IP on the game and forum and reset his password yesterday. Apologies for late answer.
