- Payphone 'locate vehicle' menu is now ordered alphabetically.




- Time Trial bonus cash/score is now only awarded for a top-ten leaderboard position.
  - It was previously supposed to give a bonus for being in the top 50, but it was bugged anyway and didn't work.
- Stolen vehicles can no longer be sold to other players with /vsell.




- Fixed spawnkill protection not working in some situations.
  The intended behaviour of spawnkill protection is that a player that has recently (5 seconds) spawned or entered/exited an interior cannot deal or take damage.
- Fixed 'Missions complete' player stat counting double for Pizzaboy and Paperboy.
- Fixed 'Missions complete' player stat not counting each round completed in Lumberjack.
- Time Trial 'bonus' cash/score message will no longer show if no bonus was given.
- Fixed incorrect vehicle unlock levels in Dealership menu.

Version 2.0.1


- Added player stats for Roulette and Wheel of Fortune.
- The ability to view stats for another player has been added.




- All cash values displayed throughout the entire MCNR script now have thousand-separators (e.g. $1,234,567 instead of $1234567), which makes it easier to read values.
- Vehicles can now be reversed into storage garages.
- You can now change the property at which you spawn, without changing spawn type and changing back again.
- 'Now on duty as a X' message now shows rank.
- /pv will no longer show vehicle menu if vehicle could not be requested due to 'work in progress'.
- Dealership vehicle menu is now ordered alphabetically.
  - Order can be changed to order by price via /settings > Display (or use '/set dealership_sort').
- Cash robbed from a player then dropped by the assailant, when collected by a cop, will now be returned to the victim.
  - Cash will only be returned to the most recently robbed player.
  - The officer will receive a small monetary reward if the amount was over $100, and they will gain some XP/score.




- Supply drops containing health can no longer be picked up if you've been damaged in the seconds prior.
- Supply drop health restoration is now gradual instead of instant.
- Stolen vehicles can now be stored into a garage up to a value of $100k (was $25k).
- Player weapon skill will no longer increase when shooting vehicles being driven by NPCs.
- Medics now have a higher chance of revival/CPR success.
   - It is still dependant on the CPR skill level (/skills) but medics can now achieve up to 98% success versus cops 95%.
- Players can no longer call for help immediately once downed. They must wait 10 seconds.
  - This is to reduce spam, especially for medics, who receive constant alerts of players in need of help yet they die 2 seconds later.
- Level requirement for cop changed back to 50 from 10.
- Level requirement for medic/fire changed back to 20 from 10.
- Vehicle recovery prices have been reduced to 20% of what they were.




- Fixed 'DEA Briefcase' event showing 'Mafia Money Bag' in some messages.
- Fixed Paperboy mission newspaper throw animation freezing.
- Fixed an issue where you could purchase melee weapons you already have.
- Fixed public service workers being able to claim a player's bounty by attacking them and then the bounty player leaves the server.

THE GREAT RESET: Version 2.0

The Great Reset
Everyone's account stats have been reset in 'The Great Reset'.
MCNR is now on version 2.0 to mark this event.

PRICES & PAYOUTS
Prices of items and payouts from jobs/missions/robberies have all been adjusted, some significantly.

NEW PLAYER STATS SYSTEM
The player stats system has been completely rewritten from scratch to make the code easier to work with.
The main change is that it now saves stats by year. At the end of each year, we'll look back at stats for the previous year.

There won't be many noticable changes in-game, but it's been a lot of work to completely change the way the stats are saved in the database.
Old stats will not be carried over to this new system as they can't be converted to yearly stats, so everyone's stats will be reset.
This is one of the main reasons for The Great Reset.

DEA BRIEFCASE EVENT
The 'Mafia Money Bag' event now has a 'DEA Briefcase' variant. This is 50/50 random.
It will pay 25% more, but give you a 5-star wanted level.

ADDITIONAL PROPERTY SLOTS FOR DONATORS
- Donators can own one additional property for each £5 donated, up to a maximum of 10.




- An always-created floor has been added to the back entrance of large banks to prevent players falling before the floor loads.




- Vehicle prices have been drastically increased.
- Property prices have also been drastically increased - by 100% across all properties.
- Garage prices have been increased.
- When selling a personal vehicle to the server/dealership, the price will be a percentage of the vehicle's value when it was purchased, not how much you paid for it.
- Recently-stolen money (from other players) will no longer be dropped upon death in certain worlds (e.g. during duels).
- Stats and achievements related to bank robberies now clarify these must be 'heists' (large banks), not the small banks.
- You can now re-cast your fishing line before the animation is complete.




- Fixed Prisoner Transport mission vehicle text label not being removed once mission is started.
- Fixed being able to stand on a weapon pickup, be teleported to another world (e.g. duel), then press CROUCH to pick up the weapon previously near.
- Fixed 'Total cash in stolen safes' chat message when robbing a property not showing the amount.
- Fixed bug where Paperboy newspapers couldn't be thrown.
- Fixed bug where property break-in could be half-cancelled by entering a vehicle near the door, however doing so would make it so the player could not enter any vehicles until re-attempting a break-in.
- /me and some similar commands now respect /ignore and won't show for players that are ignoring the sender.
- Fixed 'Lotto tickets bought' stat not being increased when buying a lotto ticket with /lotto instead of visiting a store.
  - This also meant progress wasn't made towards the 'Buy a lotto ticket' achievement.
- Fixed recently used weapon/ammo returning after death.
- Fixed certain robbery hideout checkpoints not being removed if the robbery was failed/cancelled.

- The 'Cash Man' achievement will no longer be progressed with cash from asset sales, player transfers, gifts, refunds, and other sources.
  It will only count for cash that is found, stolen, won, or earned.
- 'Vehicle credits' (from donating) can now be used on vehicles over $100k, and will discount up to $100k per credit used.
- Vehicles purchased using vehicle credits can now only be sold for the cash paid, not the value of the credit(s).
- Achievement for 'Win a Duel with 100% accuracy' was not being awarded.
- Fixed no vehicles able to be scrapped at scrapyard due to $50k limit. Increased to $250k, but payment reduced from 10% to 1%.

The Great Reset

INTRODUCTION
For a pretty long time we've been planning to perform a player reset. You may have heard rumours of this. The time has finally come.
All players will have most of their account data reset, as if they just joined the server as a new player.

This is something that happens often on other servers, but has never happened on MCNR.
We're calling this The Great Reset, after which we'll be on MCNR version 2.0.

We're doing this for three main reasons:
- To rebalance the economy (property/vehicle prices are simply too low)
- To give players more reason to play (it gets boring when you have achieved everything and have nothing to try for)
- Semi-necessary for script backend changes

Players' initial reaction to this may be negative, but we feel in the long-run it will benefit the server and its players.

The reset will happen this Saturday 20/01/2024.
It's important to note that your account is NOT being deleted, just reset. You'll still join and login as normal.


RIOT MODE
To 'celebrate' the reset, we're going to host 'Riot Mode' for a few days prior to the reset. This starts now!
During this period, there will be no rules in place in regards to who you can attack/kill. Everyone for themselves!
All other rules will apply as usual.

We hope everyone understands why we're doing this and appreciate the potential long-term benefits. See you in-game!



The following things will be reset for all players:
- All cash will be removed, and all players will have $10,000 in their wallet
- Player score/level and job xp/ranks
- Properties
- Owned vehicles
- Inventory & clothing
- Weapons & ammo (including from properties, and confiscated weapons/ammo)
- Stats and achievements
- Daily objectives progress/streak
- Daily login bonus streak
- Weed plants
- Skins and jobs (everyone's skin will be reset to a generic one)
- Accrued payday points
- Jail/ticket status & wanted levels
- Bounties
- Collectables (area exploration, oysters etc.)
- Vehicle export lists
- Player skills, including weapon skills and muscle strength
- Fighting styles
- Health & armour (everyone reset to 100 health and 0 armour)
- Green goo status (must be level 50 to replay)
- Daily gambling allowance
- Kickstart Stadium personal best
- Discord Nitro booster period (if you are a Discord Nitro booster, you'll get your rewards again at midnight)

The following leaderboards will be reset:
- Time trial
- Decathlon
- Kickstart stadium

The following will NOT be reset:
- Account information (passwords, security questions, linked Discord account etc.)
- Settings
- Name change requests/history/limits
- Bans/infractions/PSOs
- Donation status (rewards will be re-given after the reset)
- Friend lists

PRICE INCREASES
In order to improve the 'economy' of MCNR and address the issue of players accumulating tens of millions of dollars with nothing to spend it on, prices have been increased, including:
   - Property prices doubled
   - Vehicle prices increased drastically

SKIN RESET - FIRST SKIN CHANGE FOR FREE
- Due to the fact that everyone's score/level has been reset, all skins have been reset to a basic one.
- Everyone will get one free skin change upon the reset. Visit any clothes shop (/gps clothes) to change skin.
- Donators can use /skin to change skin from anywhere.

EXISTING DONATION REWARDS
Donators will be given back their cash bonus ($10,000 for every 1 GBP donated) and vehicle credits (one for every 5 GBP donated).

DOUBLE DONATIONS
For a limited time, each 1 GBP donated will get you $20,000 in-game cash instead of the usual $10,000.
This rare event will last for 10 days. It will start 3 days before the reset and finish one week after.
NOTE: Cash and vehicle credits gained before the reset will be re-given after the reset, so you lose nothing!

DOUBLE CASH/SCORE EVENT
For the first week after the reset, double cash will be awarded for:
- Cash earned from jobs (including payday)
- Cash from side-jobs, missions, challenges etc.
- Cash stolen from banks, stores, Securicar etc.
- Cash won from betting, including scratchcards and lotto
- Cash for scrapping/exporting vehicles (excluding personal vehicles)
- Cash for daily objectives, achievements, and daily login bonus

You'll also get double score/xp for everything.

RIOT MODE
To 'celebrate' the reset, we're going to host 'Riot Mode' for a few days prior to the reset. This starts now!
During this period, there will be no rules in place in regards to who you can attack/kill. Everyone for themselves!
All other rules will apply as usual.

We're also disabling the daily gambling limit during this time.

SCHEDULE
- The Great Reset will happen this coming Saturday (20/01/2024) - at no specific defined time, but it will be announced a few hours before it happens.
- Riot Mode lasts from now until the reset.
- Double cash/score/xp/donations will start once the reset happens and last 7 days (til 27/01/2024).

HELP AND FEEDBACK

For any major changes we'll mention everyone again.

Please note all of this is subject to change. If all goes to plan, the reset will happen on Saturday, but this is not a guarantee if for any reason it isn't achieveable.

TIPS FOR STARTING OVER
We understand that the thought of starting from scratch may seem daunting, but there are many easy/quick ways to earn cash and score on MCNR:
- Earn score and level up, as you'll get cash bonuses for levelling up, and unlock better weapons/vehicles/features.
- Level up your job rank, as you'll get a higher payday payment.
- Complete daily objectives for consecutive days in a row for large cash rewards. See /obj in-game.
- Complete achievements for cash and score rewards. A lot of basic achievements are obtainable again which only take a few minutes!
- Find collectables (gang tags, oysters etc.) as there are 280 to find! You can earn hundreds of thousands from this.
- Do special events such as the Mafia Money Bag event, the Securicar event, Special Cargo Trucking, and Treasure Hunt.
- Play daily for at least 30 minutes to earn the Daily Login Bonus (see /dlb in-game).
- Remember to play lotto often to be in with more chance of winning!
- Complete the 'green goo' event after level 50 for a large cash prize.
  - If you don't know what this is, that sucks for you!
- A double cash/score/xp event will run for 2 weeks following the reset, so get some play time in during that period to take advantage of the bonus!
- Staff will organise events after the reset which will have cash prizes up for grabs.
- Refer players to the server and you both get bonus cash - see mikescnr.com/refer.
- Donate for an extra $10,000 in-game cash per 1GBP donated. See mikescnr.com/donate for more info.
  - During the week before and after the reset, you'll get double the cash, and you'll keep it through any resets!

Introduction
The 2023 Christmas Event has begun!

- A Ferry has been added between Bayside and Dwayne Island.
  - NOTE: There is no physical/visual Ferry, it's just 'fast travel'.
- A /setting has been added to disable the automatic picking up of weapon pickups.
  - Players that enable this setting will need to crouch to pick up the weapon.
  - This affects weapons found around the map, as well as weapons dropped by other players.
- Civilians in job vehicles (e.g. a civ in a police car) can now see the job radio (#).
- Vehicle storage garages can now be sold (50% refund).
- Added /m to continue to message the last player you PMed.
  - Differs from using /reply (/r) as it won't change if someone else messages you.
- Player jailbreak can now be cancelled mid-attempt by pressing FIRE.
- A casino has been added in San Fierro, near the Vank Hoff hotel.
- Donators now get an extra clothing slot allowance (can wear 6 items, usually only 5).
- Donators can now save a skin with a clothing outfit, and change the skin automatically when loading the outfit.
- Added 'Fishing' skill which will allow faster fishing as the skill increases.




- When initiating an 'offer' to a player, you'll now be told if they're currently paused and might not respond immediately if at all.
  - NOTE: This 'offer' system is currently only used for bribe, group invite, friend invite, gps sharing, inventory trading, and dice.
- Cops can no longer be damaged while cuffing/arresting a suspect.
- All helmet clothing items now give headshot protection.
   - Headshot protection is no longer as strong.
   - Helmets used to completely disable the 1.5x headshot multiplier, but now headshots with a helmet will still have a 1.2x multiplier.
- Jailbreak player skill now also affects player breakout time when assisted by another player.
- Boosted payout for Securicar (main mission player, assisting guards, and when stolen).
- When a player's weapons are conficated (PD locker), existing confiscated weapons are no longer wiped. They simply add up.
- Pressing ENTER in Ammunation while buying guns will now buy 10x the Ammo, allowing for faster purchasing.
  - There are plans to improve the entire Ammunation interface in the future, which will bring further improvements.
- Vehicle export checkpoint now requires a key press to sell the vehicle.




- Increased the amount of skill attained when training skills (some increased more than others).
- Increased Mafia Moneybag prize cash.
- Shooting an emergency vehicle will now result in a 2-star wanted level (from innocent).
- Prostitution is now a crime (for both parties) if a cop is nearby (50m).




- Potential fix for Securicar mission timer going negative.
- Fixed vehicle mod selling menu not showing all mods.
- Fixed an issue where certain 'player offers' were not cancelled when the players were 'disrupted' (e.g. downed/died/cuffed/arrested/tazed).
  - Also fixed certain 'player offers' cancelling when players were disrupted when they weren't supposed to be (e.g. friend requests).
- Fixed 'Extinguish Yourself' achievement not working when on fire from a campfire.
- Fixed player vehicles rotating when playing dice inside a vehicle.

HALLOWEEN IS OVER
The 2023 Halloween event has now concluded. We hope you had fun!

The next seasonal event will be Christmas, and the event will run for the entire month of December.




Trainable Skills:
- Players can now train skills for specific tasks, including CPR, carjacking, hotwiring, and more.
- The more a skill is trained, the better a player is at it. For example a higher CPR success rate, or faster hotwiring.
- Skills consist of a base skill and a trained skill. For example, the CPR base skill is determined by your medic rank, however the trained portion increases with experience.
- See /skills in-game.

Custom Quickstrings (donator only):
- Donators can now set up to ten custom 'quickstrings'.
- Each quickstring can consist of text, other quickstrings, or a combination of both.
- For example, you can set '$q1' to be replaced with 'I am heading $dir in a $veh at $speed'.
- You can even use ten-codes, color embedding, and any other chat feature, like mentions.
- To set these custom quickstrings, use the option at the bottom of /quickstrings (/qs).

- Weed can now be sold to drug dealer NPCs.
  - They pay 75% of the price of Weed. That's $1,238 per gram, or $61,900 for 50 grams (max that can be carried).
- Added labels to interior doors to show suspects/cops that are outside (within 100m of the door).
- Added 'Sanchez drop' supply drop type.
- Campfires can now be extinguished with piss.
- Added 'Terminator' achievement to max out all skills, weapon skills, muscle, and learn all fighting styles.
- An entry will now be added into crime history (/crimes) when a player is jailed.




- 'Threat' crimes are now highlighted red in crime history (/crimes)
- 'Suspects/Cops inside' labels now show number of cops/suspects.
- Added 'tyre' aliases for 'tire' command (/tyre /tyres /tyrehealth).




- Name change requests can no longer be submitted if a player has more than 5 active infraction points.
- Damage done by Fist or Brass Knuckles is now capped at 10hp per hit, due to a special move that could deal over 50hp damage in a single hit.




- Fixed cops being able to steal the Securicar.
- Fixed issue where shooting a seasonal collectable (pumpkin) via passenger drive-by would cause the vehicle's angle to be set to face the pumpkin.
- Fixed players being given level-locked weapons from supply drops.
- Various fixes for Trucking and Special Cargo, including being unable to steal the special cargo trailer from another player.
- Fixes 'trespass' crime when entering airports when objective destinations were inside.
- Fixed no price being shown for medic heal service.

ALSO NEW
- Added additional entrance/exits to Sherman Dam.
- Added parachute pickup to top of Sherman Dam.




Name change request system improvements:
- Names that have recently become available (from someone changing their name from it) will not be able for other players to request until 28 days have passed.
- Players can no longer request a name change to a name that someone else has already requested a change to.

- Added 'fall protection' to all custom mapped interiors, to lessen the chance of players falling if they have lag/packetloss.




- Lessened the chance of personal vehicles spawning above/below the player.
- Personal vehicles can no longer be managed (/v) while being delivered.




- Fixed being able to accept duels while having services provided.
- Fixed PM notification sound playing even if you ignored the player.
- Fixed safe robbery bags not removed from players on city change.
- Fixed banned players being able to retain properties by attempting to log in, resetting their 'last online' time.
- Fixed Trucking skipping the 'Collect the cargo' phase if a trailer was previously used for a Trucking mission but it was failed/cancelled before the cargo was delivered.
- Fixed issue in Video Poker where Straight and Straight Flush were not calculated correctly.
- Fixed an issue with /dropweapon (/dw) where weapons sometimes would remain in a player's loadout.
  - This only affected ammoless weapons (e.g. a Shovel), and only if replacing an existing weapon drop.
- Fixed firefighter service menu not showing.
- Fixed vehicle ID mixup on city change causing 'Cops cannot start this mission' error when entering police pursuit vehicles or random vehicles being marked as the Dynamite Delivery mission vehicle and starting said mission upon entry.

Introduction
In light of the long amount of time that 1.15 was in development, I have vowed to release updates more often, albeit containing less features.

This approach will mean:
- Players get updates more often
- There's less to test, and therefore less bugs
- It puts less stress on myself to pack in lots of stuff into a single update

Therefore, 1.16 is not as huge of an update as 1.15 was, but there's some good stuff in there - some stuff that has been requested for years.

Halloween Event 2023

It's October, and for the first time the Halloween event is going to run for the whole of October.

Friend System:
- A friend system has been added. Players can add each other as friends for various in-game benefits.
- Benefits include: Join alerts, vehicle access, property access, supply drop sharing, damage protection, auto-joining groups, allowing PMs even when PMs are disabled, and more.
- See /friend in-game for help.
   - Use '/friend add/remove [name/id]' to add and remove friends (they must accept a friend request).
   - You can also press Y while looking at a player to add or remove them as a friend.
   - Use '/friend list' or '/friends' to view your friend list. It's also under 'Other' on the Interaction Menu.
- A 'Friends' category has been added to /settings to configure friend features.

Property Sale Alerts:
  - Donator-exclusive #property-alerts channel on Discord will show when properties go on sale.
  - Donators can 'watch' a property to be alerted (in-game and on Discord via DM) when it goes on sale.
  - The old chat message when someone puts a property on sale isn't being removed;
    the new property alert for donators is just a more stark/noticable alert, with an alert sound.

New daily objectives:
  - Get a disease (STD or food poisoning)
  - Rappel from a helicopter
  - Tail a suspect in a police/news helicopter

Server HUD settings improvements:
- Added a new /setting to enable thousand separators in bank balance and cash adjustments HUD.
    - For example, instead of '$1234567' it will display '$1,234,567', making it easier to interpret.
    - To enable this for bank balance, change the 'Bank Balance' setting in the /settings HUD category, or use the shortcode '/set bank_hud'.
    - To enable this for cash adjustments, change the 'Cash Adjustments' setting in the /settings HUD category, or use the shortcode '/set show_cash_change'.
    - This cannot be enabled for the wallet HUD as this is part of the game, but you can get mods for this.
- Server HUD settings are now in a separate /settings category from 'Display'.

Personal Vehicle Shortcodes:
- Custom 'shortcodes' can be set for individual personal vehicles, to manage/request them more easily and quickly.
- To set a shortcode, manage the vehicle in /v and select 'Set shortcode'.
   - Shortcodes can only contain a-z, A-Z, and 0-9, and cannot exceed 12 characters.
- To manage a vehicle by shortcode, use '/v [shortcode]'.
- To request a vehicle by shortcode, use '/pv [shortcode]'.

Radar Jammer:
The 'Radar Jammer' item has been added, which can be purchased from Zero RC in San Fierro.
When activated, the user's radar blip and location will be hidden from all other players for 30 seconds.
NOTE: Location won't be hidden for friends (unless opposing teams) or for fellow public service workers.

Medic/Mechanic Item Selling:
- Medics can now sell Medkits, Disease Relief Pills, Condoms, and Lube to players.
- Mechanics can now sell Repair Kits and Jerry Cans to players.
- 'Wholesale' versions of these items can be purchased at a Hospital (for Medics) or Gas Station (for Mechanics). They cannot be used, only sold.
  - They won't use any space/weight in inventory so you can fully stock up on them.
- The wholesale price is 25% of the actual price. They are sold to players for 10% more than the regular price.
- Players can offer their services to players by pressing LALT (or whatever key 'walk' is mapped to).
- On a side note, the price of Medkits has been increased slightly.

ALSO NEW:
- Added 'Disease Relief Pill' item which can be purchased from hospitals. Taking one will stop disease effects for 10 minutes.
- Property owners can now view a property's purchase history in the Property Management Menu.
- There is now a 'Spawn Location' setting for each city, allowing players to spawn at different places depending on the city.
    - This will be most useful for spawning at different properties for each city.
- Added stats and achievements for Treasure Hunt and Mafia Moneybag.
- Added action log for self-inflicted damage, including health lost.
- Some properties can now store 3 or 4 vehicles in the garage(s), if the garage looks large enough or there are more than 2 physical garages.
- Added /sd short command for requesting a Supply Drop.
- The Bullet now has a 'weak spot' on the rear engine block. Shooting it will explode the vehicle, just like when shooting a petrol cap on vehicles that have visible ones.
- Donators can now change skin any time any where using '/skin [skin id]'. '/skin' will show a skin menu.
- Condoms and Lube now have purposes.
  - They can both be purchased from Sex Shops as always.
  - They can now also be purchased from Hospitals.
  - Lube will make sex end faster.
  - Condoms will decrease STD chance from 1 in 3 to 1 in 10.
  - These two items are used by the customer, not the prostitute.
- Added trespass area to Ocean Docks aircraft carrier.
- Added a stat/achievement for killing players that just robbed you.
  - This replaces the 'Vigilante' achievement to 'Kill Most Wanted players', as there is no longer a vigilante bonus for killing most wanted players.




- Muted players are now shown how long until they are unmuted when trying to send a chat message.
- Properties with inactive owners will now be sold on city change, instead of only on server restart.
- All property system messages now use the Avery Properties color instead of teal (don't forget to check out https://avery-properties.com!).
- The Property Management menu has been slightly reorganised and now shows the property name in the title bar.
- The /settings (/set) command can now be used to search settings more easily (e.g. '/set spawn') and also jump straight to categories (e.g. '/set display')
- /settings (/set) search will now also search in setting descriptions as well as names.
- Additional boat spawn positions have been added to the North shore of SF to prevent boats spawning on Dwayne Island when requested near Jizzy's Pleasure Domes.
- Player map blips are now hidden while inside a Smoke Screen.
- Sit/crouch/lay animations now allow surfing on vehicles at higher speeds (same speed as crouching).
- Using a Prostitute will now give a health boost. Doing it inside a vehicle will give more HP.
- Medic service offers now give the customer the choice of Heal or Cure, instead of prioritising heal before cure.
- Certain dialogs/menus no longer get closed on city change, if they are not relevant to current player state.
  - For example, the dialog to add a friend won't be closed, but the Ammunation menu will be.
- Inventory item capacity increased from 50 to 100, but each item now has its own size and weight which counts towards capacity.
- Certain dialogs which have a grace period where they cannot be responded to can now be closed early.
  - For example, when confirming an action, sometimes there is a 5 second delay before the action can be confirmed. Now, the action can be cancelled before that time is up.
- In addition to Repair/Refuel/Recolor, boat/aircraft checkpoints now allow purchasing of repair kits and jerry cans, as well as adding armour to aircraft.
- When entering a boat/aircraft service menu checkpoint, there is now a 1 second delay, to lessen the chance of premature menu closure due to going out of the checkpoint.
- When changing a vehicle's colour(s) via a Gas Station or the new boat/aircraft menu, the menu will be re-shown once the color is changed.
- Properties can now be viewed even if they cannot be afforded.




- Desk Duty changes:
    - Desk Duty reports required lowered from 5 to 3.
    - Desk Duty key press requirement reduced from 30 to 20 (per report)
    - Desk Duty will now complete automatically once a second.
      - You can still tap SPRINT to speed up the process.

- Securicar robbery payout increased (doubled).
- When cops are placing roadblock objects, they are no longer shown to other players until they are placed.
- Maximum service tip reduced back to $10k from $100k.
- Prize money for Catch of the Day (fishing) increased.
- When personal vehicles are repaired (engine/tires/fuel) in storage, they cannot be requested for a few seconds afterwards, while there is 'work in progress'.
- When personal vehicles are returned to storage, they cannot be requested again for a few seconds.
- Personal vehicles can no longer be returned to storage if they're destroyed or about to be (on fire).
- Closing the Personal Vehicle Management Menu will no longer go 'back' to the Interaction Menu, to allow faster closing.
- /missions can now accept typed input, bypassing 2 dialogs (e.g /missions trucking will find the nearest trucking mission available).
- Players will no longer be ejected from vehicles if they are in drive-by mode as a passenger unless they actually shoot.
- Vehicle crate supply drops can no longer be called in next to other players, to prevent getting them killed (especially if they are afk).
- Player blip distances have been increased, including a 50m increase when in a vehicle and a 400m increase in aircraft.
  - CIA/FBI/SWAT blip distance has also been increased slightly.
- Supply drop prices increased.
- Players can now evade their wanted level inside a property they own - giving properties a new benefit.
  - NOTE: The distance a player must be away from cops does not reduce when entering a property. It will be equal to if the suspect is stood directly outside the property.




- Various internal fixes that caused error spam for staff.
- Fixed wrong respawn location after desk duty.
- Fixed an issue which could cause a safe robbery to fail if a hideout was involved.
- Fixed an issue where players might be told they had more infraction points than they had if an infraction was revoked (it would count expired/revoked infraction points too).
- Fixed a bug where Special Cargo could be duplicated.
- Fixed property management menu 'Instant maid' not charging a fee.
- Fixed players 'flying upwards' during city transition if caught in the middle of CPR, cuff removal, BJ, and similar two-player animations.
- Daily objective for 'Drive 50 different vehicle models' will now check off the player's current vehicle if objective assigned while driving.
- Fixed three bugs related to the 'Stolen Vehicle (Parked)' cop job event:
   - Player personal vehicles could be stolen as the 'stolen' vehicle, locking the owners out as the vehicle was 'in use for a mission'.
   - Vehicles not in the main game world could be chosen as the target vehicle.
   - Other players could enter the stolen vehicle.
- Fixed issue with campfires where 'resting' might apply to players after they enter a vehicle while resting at a campfire.
- Fix server HUD failing to show on spawn if chat disabled.
- Fixed achievement for 'Win x times at dice' tracking the wrong stat (dice games played instead of dice games won).
- Fixed players being able to immediately regain hp lost through fall damage if falling while health was increasing (e.g. medkit used).
- Possible fix for players losing weapons when going on duty as a cop while already on duty as another job (e.g. Mechanic).

- Added new basic chat anti-spam for duplicate messages within 10 seconds.
- Added a crackable safe inside Madd Dogg's mansion. Requires the takings to be taken to a hideout.
- Added a /setting to customise the behaviour of /rpv.
  - It can either prioritise returning the primary vehicle, the secondary vehicle, or prompt you to choose every time (or only when there's two active).
- Confirming age (18+) for gambling is now saved to player accounts and therefore won't show each session.




- Pausing during a duel will now forfeit the duel.
- Pending messages (messages received while offline, e.g. property sales while offline) will no longer be spammed into chat upon first spawn.
    Instead, players will be periodically notified that they have unread messages and can use /inbox to view them in a dialog.
- Vehicle garage prices have been standardised based on location/capacity and in most cases have been increased.
  - Single garage: $5,000
  - Low capacity/bad location: $8,000

Changes have been made to the speeds at which players can 'surf' on vehicles.
Speeds depend on the vehicle type and the actions of the surfer.

Hi everyone.

It was recently brought to my attention that there has been a staff complaint against our Operations Manager, Karbz. This complaint was from saz, an ex-manager. I'd like to provide transparency on the situation.

I was not immediately made aware of the report, and as a result a lot happened before I even knew about it.

I have delayed putting this post out because I've been busy with other stuff. This was due to be posted about a week ago, so apologies for that.

The report contained numberous accusations ranging from insignificant to major. I'd like to break these accusations down, give Karbz' view, my view, and what actions (if any) have been taken.

Accusation #1 - Gifted cash and property purchase
Karbz gave himself millions of dollars in cash (over $100m).
This money was then partly used by Karbz to purchase a property ($7.5m).
This was evidenced by staff logs and transaction logs.

Karbz
This is not disputed; this happened. In regards to the gifted cash, Karbz says he was testing a bug relating to the upper cash limit, but did not realise the limit was enormous (over 2.14 billion, in theory).

*For the “gifted/spawned” in cash, I was attempting to break the upper cash limit (bug testing), as I know there are people out there who “genuinely” have $100m total cash in their wallets/banks. I wanted to see what would happen if cash was set above this limit, I consulted with Mike about what the limit was where he replied that it was over $2b – I essentially gave up at the $100m mark as I would have been there for nearly 20 years typing a command. Occasionally, you need to go to extremes to create a bug or to break something*

The properties that were purchased, were sold back to the bank and I cleared my entire wallet/bank – this includes cash that had been genuinely earned from missions etc. I have one property left, to which was genuinely purchased prior to this incident happening.  Any cash, or properties that have been illegitimately purchased have been sold, and all funds wiped from my account.

I can attest to this, that Karbz was testing something (albeit testing something silly, which should have been tested on the testing server). He asked me about it when he was doing it. He reset his money afterwards.

As for the purchasing of properties with this cash, that's definitely not on, and Karbz knows this.

Conclusion
The effects of buying properties with illegitimate cash has been stressed and won't be repeated.

Accusation #2 - Forced rule breaking by other players
Karbz, on an undercover account, used an Operations Manager restricted command to force innocent players into using commands, leading staff to believe they were originating from the victim player themselves, resulting in the victim being punished for something they didn't actually do. This was evidenced by staff logs.

This included submitting player reports (forced players to /report other players) with light homophobic remarks in them.

Karbz
Karbz admitted to me that he has done this in the past to simulate players breaking rules, to see how players and staff react, while he is watching them undercover.

*I often forced players to break rules by forcing commands – Yes, this command should by no means be used in the manner to which I was using it. However, I was testing online staff to see their responsiveness and how they handled situations. If a player was punished as a result of this, the punishments were swiftly removed, and the staff member notified that the player did not do anything wrong.  -  I will in the future these methods of ‘testing’ staff will not be happening, and I apologise for any confusion that this caused within the staff team or players. *

I was very disappointed to know this was happening. In particular that innocent players were being forced to perform rule-breaking actions just for the purposes of seeing how staff react. Innocent players should not be messed with like this.

In regards to the light homophobic remarks, I have made it clear to Karbz this is not acceptable and should not happen again in any circumstance.

Conclusion
I have made my feelings about this method of undercover work strongly known to Karbz and other staff. All staff will be expressly forbidden from doing this going forward, and any affected players should receive a sincere apology.

Accusation #3 - Simulated cheating
Karbz was simulating cheating by means such as turning on explosive bullets, and giving himself weapons.
All players were given $50k compensation afterwards.
This was evidenced in staff logs.

Karbz
Karbz admitted to doing this, and said it was done to see how players/staff react to a cheater on the server, while he watched while undercover.

**Explosive bullets:**
Another feature, only available to my level within staff was “explosive bullets” I was using this to simulate being a “cheater” on the server to see how effectively staff were dealing with these issues and how quickly player reports were being made – I was often impressed by the response time of staff, but it often took quite a while for reports to be made. These “explosive bullets” are quite weak, and often actually did more damage to me than to players that they were being used against.

They only did instant damage to vehicles, causing the vehicles to instantly catch on fire. Players affected by this were given compensation, if you believe that you may have been affected by this and not received compensation, please reach out to me.  I do have a list of players, that I still need to offer a compensation payment.

Mike
Just like the previous point, I made it known to Karbz that this isn't acceptable. Not in situations where innocent players either get dragged up into it. It's disruptive to their experience, and could lose us players.

Conclusion
I forbid this method of undercover work in future.
Also randomly giving everyone on the server $50k for no reason is not something I want to see. Especially when we caused the situation in the first place..

Accusation #4 - Treating players equally

I don't know what the true accusation is here. Perhaps when you make a staff complaint you can actually explain the accusation instead of just pasting in 20 screenshots of random Discord chats...

Karbz says this is related to managers being dismissed. We have discussed this privately and there has been no wrongdoing identified.

Accusation #5 - Harassment, insults, and general toxicity
Karbz was seen, on his undercover account, using foul language, hurling personal direct insults to players, and harassing individuals. This was evidenced by staff logs, global chat, and private message logs.

Karbz admitted he was simulating being a rule-breaker on an undercover account in order to see the responses from players/staff.

Mike
As before, I've made it clear to Karbz this is not acceptable. I don't care if you're undercover trying to monitor the response of players/staff to a rule-breaker - we should not be making the server a hostile place in pursuit of this. This will not be tolerated in the future.

Conclusion
Karbz has been made aware this is not acceptable and should not happen again.

Accusation #6 - Coverup
It might appear the staff complaint topic about Karbz was hidden from public view as a coverup; this is not the case.

This report was initially posted publicly on the forums, but it was decided to move the topic into a management-only board while it was under review by myself. The reasoning behind this (and this is not an isolated case of this happening, it is standard procedure for staff complaints) was because of the 'innocent until proven guilty' mindset we hold. We should not allow a member of staff's reputation to be tarnished before the situation has been investigated, in case it is just a misunderstanding, or it's blown out of proportion.

The second reason for the topic being hidden was that 99% of it was leaked chat/logs. There were leaked DMs, leaked confidental staff chats, and leaked staff logs. Leaking these is in contravention of the staff terms and conditions which all staff agree to when joining the team. We don't know if the leaks came from active or past staff. We've always had problems with leaks, and always will, it's inevitable and cannot stopped. But, if we do have an active member of staff that is leaking convos, know your days are numbered. Staff that do this will always have other traits which make them unsuitable to stay staff for long.

In conclusion, I am not taking any drastic action against Karbz (e.g. demotion/dismissal) but have expressed my deepest disappointment in learning of the things that have been going on, and don't want to see a repeat of it. Karbz has been keeping MCNR running every day for I-don't-even-know-how-long now. I owe him a lot. He takes an enormous weight off my shoulders and I can't think him enough. He's around whenever I need him, and I feel that I can count on him. That even further fueled my disappointment in this situation.

I will be announcing some clarification and rules/guidelines to staff going forward regarding the use of undercover accounts to monitor players/staff, as it's been very much a free-for-all until now. We won't be discussing this publicly of course.

A message from Karbz
I would firstly like to apologise for my behaviour that was recently made publicly available on the forums, this behaviour was not acceptable and nor do I condone this behaviour that I was displaying.  Being the Operations Manager, is not exactly the easiest of tasks when not only do I have the entire server to watch over, but also a team of 20+ staff members as well.

I should be leading by example, and not behaving inappropriately where our other staff members may think “if Karbz is doing it, I can as well” – So, with the sincerest of apologies I do humbly disapprove of my behaviour and can confidently give my 100% back up that you will not see the type of behaviour from me again.

I have let down Mike, I have let down the staff team, and most importantly let down the community and possibly tarnished the reputation of the server. I will however be going forwards, remaining as the Operations Manager be ensuring that this situation or any similar situations or staff members who are wrongfully punishing players will be dealt with swiftly and accordingly.

- Added action log for medkit use.
- Added /y and /n to accept/reject offers (e.g. bribes).




- Suspects that are cuffed or being cuffed can now only bribe (or be offered a bribe) by the cop that is cuffing or has cuffed them.
- Reduced damage done by vehicle collision against an on foot player. Also no more chance of an instant kill, will always down the victim.
- Doubled cash given for scrapping and exporting vehicles.
- Helitours mission will no longer fail instantly if the player exits the vehicle; they will be given a few seconds to re-enter.
- During maid mission you'll no longer be able to instantly exit a property by walking into the door; it will always prompt to press ENTER/F regardless of the /setting for auto-exiting properties without said prompt.
- Spawn selection map/POI box will now show immediately when viewing a spawn location if the screen fading is disabled in /settings or the location was already viewed and is therefore already loaded.




- When attempting to use the carwash in an unsuitable vehicle, the error text would remain on the screen indefinitely.
- Fixed bad text in /tax (it said a tax cycle was 2m 48s long).

- Fixed /setting dialog for fighting style sometimes not returning to settings menu once closed, or showing 'Gameplay' settings instead of 'Combat'.
- Fixed pressing drive-by keys (Q/E) in a helicopter/plane near the airport guard 'threatening' the guard and opening the gates.
- Fixed vehicle hotwiring failing the first time every time.
  - It now works as intended. It'll only ever fail once, and the higher your player level the more successful you will be (from 50% success at level 1, to 100% success at level 100).
  - At max level, hotwiring will never fail. Unless it's someone's personal vehicle, then it will always fail the first time.
- Fixed (or at least reduced chance of) vehicle hotwiring animation playing after exiting vehicle (for laggy players that immediately exit a vehicle that needed hotwiring).
- Fixed players having no driving animation when starting a mission that starts in a vehicle (e.g. Sweeper) and a seasonal event was active.

Version 1.15

Introduction
The next major update for MCNR has finally arrived – version 1.15! This update contains a bunch of new stuff and contains various improvements and QoL updates.

Development of 1.15 has been slower than expected due to personal circumstances. I will try harder to push out more frequent updates going forward and will likely do so by releasing smaller updates more often rather than large ones less frequently.

Thank you to everyone for their continued support and patronage. I am very proud of how far MCNR has come, and I am excited for the future. I have a lot of things planned for future updates and look forward to releasing them.

BETA NOTICE
I would like to note that all the additions in 1.15 are in BETA. While extensive testing has been carried out, we cannot guarantee there will be no issues. If you spot anything, please report on the forums. Thank you to all testers and staff for their efforts in testing 1.15.




There are a lot of new additions in 1.15. It contains more new features than any previous MCNR update.


WEED PLANTING, GROWING, SMOKING, AND SELLING
(Sponsored by Dudesdog)
It’s now possible to grow, sell, and smoke Weed.









Smoking Weed will allow players to slowly regenerate some health, providing they haven’t been recently attacked, at the expense of camera/weapon sway.

Supplies including Weed Seeds can be purchased from Drug Dealer NPCs which appear around the city. Look out for the ‘D’ icon on the radar/map. You can also purchase Fertilizer and Bear Traps from Dealers/Bait Shops. Water/Fertilizer will increase the growth rate of plants, and Bear Traps will protect them from thieves and the cops.

Cops can destroy/sieze plants they find. The FBI skin will take less damage from Bear Traps.

Cops can seize weed plants and weed from players' inventories for a bonus.

See /weedhelp in-game for more info.

INVENTORY TRADING
You can now sell inventory items to other players.







You can set prices in your inventory menu.

Also, the maximum inventory items that can be held has been increased from 40 to 50.

TRUCKING 2.0
Trucking has been completely remade from scratch for 1.15.










You now must collect the cargo from one location and then deliver it to another. Locations vary far and wide, from collecting cargo at docks and airports and delivering to warehouses and food outlets.

You’ll also be delivering specific cargo items, rather than just generic ‘cargo’. Some cargo can be fragile/hazardous, and some can be illegal. Some are rarer than others. Fragile/illegal/rare cargo will pay out more. The cargo will also be relevant to the locations, e.g. delivering Chicken from a farm to Cluckin’ Bell.

The rewards for trucking are also much higher than before, especially for certain types of cargo!

There's also 'special cargo' - an event which will be announced once a week which involves everyone on the server being tasked to deliver a special cargo item. The first to collect it will then be the target for the entire server. If the cargo is illegal, the cops will also get involved and try to take it. The payout for special cargo will be much higher than normal cargo.

EXPANDED AND ENHANCED ANIMATIONS
The /anims menu has been revamped with various improvements and more animations.





- Many new animations added to /anims, with more to come in future updates (suggest specific ones on the forums!).
- Animations can be quickly applied using '/anim [shortcode]'. These 'shortcodes' are listed next to each animation in /anims.
- Fixed looping animations not playing the 'end' animation (animations ending abruptly).
- Shortcut re-added to interaction menu (under 'Other actions').
- Some animations are exclusive to donators.

HIDDEN ACHIEVEMENTS
'Hidden achievements' have been added.




These achievements are unlocked by doing specific things in specific ways. There is no way to find out what they are before unlocking them.
Many of these hidden achievements rely on you recreating a scenario/situation from the GTASA singleplayer story.
Some are more specific to MCNR, and require you to perform certain tasks which most players might not try.

You can view a list of hidden achivements (but unachieved ones are hidden of course) by selecting 'Hidden achievements' in the achievements list (/ach) or by typing /hach.

CASINO GAMES
You can now play custom server-scripted Blackjack, Video Poker, Roulette and more in any of the three casinos located in Las Venturas (/gps casino).



These have all been scripted from scratch by ChrisAg - huge thanks and great work!

Having casino games server-side means winnings can now actually be kept by players, as there was no way to detect winnings before.
It also means we have control over the games.

NOTE: Players must be 18+ to gamble. There is a daily gambling allowance and players believed to not be of legal age will be banned from gambling.

LOS SANTOS CASINO
A new Casino has been added to Los Santos in Conference Center.





The exterior has been decorated and the interior is custom mapped by ChrisAg.
The Casino contains a bar and safe which can be robbed, with proper heists similar to bank robberies planned for the future.

HORSE RACE BETTING (INSIDE TRACK BETTING)
Betting shops are now open for business!






Visit any Betting Shop (/gps bet) and use the ITB machines inside to bet on horse races.
Features proper animated horse race, just like singleplayer. Huge thanks for ChrisAg for the awesome script!

DEAD DROPS
A new mission has been added: Dead Drops.






Deliver 'Dead Drops' around San Andreas for cash. Other players can steal the drugs/cash for themselves!
The new Dead Drops mission can be started at any payphone (/gps phone). See /deaddrophelp (/ddhelp) in-game for more info.

DICE
Dice has been added (with betting).




- Added /dice to roll two dice (result announced in chat).
- You can use '/DICE [NAME/ID] [BET AMOUNT]' to play dice with another player for a cash bet.
- Added stats, achievements, and daily objective for playing/winning at dice.

ACTIVITY OF THE WEEK (AOTW)
One of the many missions/activities available on MCNR is selected each game week to be 'Activity of the Week' (AotW).
Completing the Activity of the Week will award the player double the usual cash and score/xp.

QUARRY DYNAMITE DELIVERY MISSION
A new mission has been added: Dynamite Delivery. The mission can be started at the top of Hunter Quarry (east side) and involves planting and detonating explosives around the quarry.




PAPERBOY MISSION
A new mission has been added: Paperboy.




Use /missions to find the closest Paperboy mission location.
Deliver papers to the houses to complete the mission.
You can return to the start to collect more paper to deliver.

COPS DESK DUTY
Cops that are injured on the job by criminals will be placed on desk duty to recover.




Completing paperwork will restore your health and then you can get back out on the streets to fight crime.
This has been added as an equivalent to criminals and jail, to make things a bit fairer and to reduce spawnkilling.

CAMPFIRES
Campfires can now be placed.






- Buy a campfire from any Bait Shop (/gps bait) You can hold 3 in your inventory.
- Place from inventory or with /campfire (or /camp or /fire). You can only have one active campfire.
- Rest at a campfire by crouching beside it. Your health will slowly increase over time while resting.
- Campfires will burn out after 10 minutes or if the city changes.
- Campfires can be extinguished with a fire extinguisher. Firefighters will get some XP for doing this.
- Stats, daily objectives, and achievements have been added for resting by campfires.
- See /campfirehelp in-game for more info.

DUEL ARENAS/MAPS
1v1 duels can now be held in a variety of locations.




A list of arenas will appear when you initiate an invitation.

SMOKE SCREENS
A new item has been added: Smoke Screen.




- Added 'Smoke screen' item which will deploy a smoke screen to disorient other players.
  - Buy smoke screens at any gas station. You can hold 3 in your inventory but only deploy 1 at a time.
  - Use /smokescreen to deploy at your location, or from within a vehicle by looking behind (Q+E) and pressing Y.
  - While inside a smoke screen, a player's nametag will be hidden from other players' view.

WORKING GYMS
Gyms now have functioning equipment in them, courtesy of ChrisAg! Use '/gps gym' to find the nearest gym.




By using the Treadmill, Bike, Weight Bar and Dummbells, you'll gain muscle. You can check your muscle level with /muscle.
The more muscle you have, the more damage you'll deal with melee weapons.
The melee damage modifier is directly proportionate to your muscle level. If you have 100% muscle, you'll deal 100% more damage (double).
Your muscle will reduce over time, so hit the gym regularly!

MULHOLLAND PROPERTY INTERIORS
A couple of properties in Mulholland / Vinewood have had custom mapped interiors added.






- The Mulholland safehouse from single-player has been given a custom interior (credit ChrisAg) which is based on how it looked in the GTA SA beta trailer.
  Essentially, the interior is actually inside the exterior, allowing you to see in/out of it!
- A new property has been added: The Chemosphere. This unique-looking stilt property has also had a custom interior (credit ChrisAg) added which fits inside the interior and allows you to see in/out the windows!
NOTE: For these two properties, you won't see other players inside/outside the property, just the world.


HOT AIR BALLOONS
As you may have noticed above, hot air balloons can now be seen travelling around San Andreas!




Follow them to where they land for a view of San Andreas like never before! No charge (at this time).

COMBINE HARVESTING




The Combine Harvester can now be used to harvest crops in certain fields.
Doing so will result in a small payout and some points.
It can only be done once per game week.

CASH DASH
The Money Rush challenges have been renamed to Cash Dash.




- Added a new challenge location in Las Colinas (LS). Involves some tricky rooftop parkour!
- Cash/score rewards are now specific to each location. More difficult challenges pay out more than easier ones.
- Renamed various locations.
- Decreased mission replay cooldown.

STAFF EVENT SYSTEM
The staff event system has been enhanced in many ways to allow staff to have greater control over events, including saving event configuration to load it again in the future.
Expect more interesting events from staff now!

Other additions
- You can now drop a bank robbery bag using /bagdrop (or via the interaction menu under 'other').
- It is now possible to retry a timetrial at the end, instead of having to drive all the way back to the start.
- Added a new setting (/set) to disable the black screen fading effect (it will change to/from black instantly).
  - This may help players with bad lag and/or packetloss. It won't look as good.
- /specduel has been added. Can be used while another player is in a duel to watch them fight.
- Each mission/activity now has an achievement related to it.
- Headphones' current station can now quickly be changed using '/headphones [station name]', e.g. '/headphones CSR'.
  - Recommended to use short unique parts of station names, e.g. 'ROSE', 'DST' or 'BOUNCE', instead of full names, to increase success chance due to differences with spaces, dashes, and so on.
    For example, is it 'KRose' or 'K-Rose' or 'K Rose'? Don't keep guessing, just put 'rose' and it will be guaranteed to work.
  - Remember /hp is short alternative to /headphones.
- Added '/gps boombox' to easily find your placed boombox.
- /level will now show the revival success rate for your current job/rank.
- The main banks now have a back entrance, for an alternative entry/exit route. Both cops and criminals can use it either way.
- Donators can now use chat color embedding in property names (/chatcolors).
  - Maximum custom property name length increased from 32 to 64 chars to allow room for colors.
- Added /pvinfo command to quickly view your active vehicle's information and status.
  - This was previously only accessible via the /v menu.
- Added an openable gate at parking lot next to Vinewood Studios, and in Chinatown alley.
- Settings (/set) can now be searched through.
- Each setting (/set) now has a 'shortcode' which can be used to quickly toggle a specific setting.
  - For example you can use '/set fps' to quickly toggle the FPS on and off.
  - These 'shortcodes' are shown in chat when a setting is changed.
  - There are also some even-quicker commands, such as /fps, but now every single setting has a shortcut.
- The Discord bot will now show the player count and city again. It was disabled previously because it crashed the server. We'll see how it goes.
- Completing the'Drive Fast Challenge' daily objective will now award the player with special otherwise-unobtainable guitar clothing items!
  - You MUST have the audio plugin to properly experience the challenge and claim the guitars.
  - There are 3 guitars, so you'll need to do this daily objective 3 times to get all 3.
- When an achievement is unlocked it now shows the description and rewards in chat.
- Camera can now be purchased from stores.
- All mission starting vehicles are now labelled as such so players know what to expect when entering them.
- You can now use '/settings reset' to quickly reset settings (or '/set reset').
- The bank manager can now be robbed in the main bank.
- Sweet and Ryder's properties now have the relevant interiors (thanks ChrisAg).
- The /gps command now supports searching. For example you can use '/gps unity' and it will set the destination to Unity Station, or '/gps grove' for Grove Street.It will find the first matching result. To be improved in future with search results etc.
- Police officers that are rank 10 can now request a Police Maverick as a job vehicle.
- Fuel gague can now be set to always show decimal precision. Change in /settings (/set) or use /fuel for shortcut to settings.
  - Will always show 2 decimal points of precision when fuel drops below 5%, as it did before (although was 1 decimal point of precision before).
- Supply drop request/collect now logged in action logs.
- Added action log for when a player is downed/revived.
- Added action logs for swim/skydiving states.
- You can now forfeit a duel with /end or /cancel or /leave





Main changes
- The way in which robbery payouts are calculated (based on online cop ratio to civilians) has been rewritten as it was confusing.
  - Payouts should be increased across all robberies as a result, if more cops are online.
  - The payout cap has been increased from 150% at 2x cop ratio, to 200% at 3x cop ratio.
  - The minimum payout has been lowered from 75% to 50% if no cops are online.
  - Ratios are as follows (e.g. cop ratio 2.0 means for every player online there are 2 cops):
    - No cops online: 50%
    - Half the amount of cops vs civilians: 75%
    - Equal amount of cops and civs: 100%
    - 50% more cops than civs: 125%
    - Twice as many cops as civs: 150%
    - Three times as many cops as civs: 200%

- Bank robbery payouts have a higher chance of being higher than before, and increased overall.
- The amount of confiscated ammo that can be recovered after jail has been increased by 6x (from 5 clips/ammo to 30).
- The price for buying back confiscated weapons from a police department has been halved, and can now be configured at runtime without a script update.
- Ammunation weapon and ammo prices have been reduced, some significantly.
- The prize cap for daily objectives consecutive days has been increased from 30 to 60 days.
- When a property is sold, any cash stored in the safe is now returned to the owner.
- Cops can no longer use the police station reception to go on/off duty or purchase weapons & equipment, they must use the locker room.
  - Players will still need to use reception to BECOME a police officer.
- To repair an aircraft with an engine repair kit, the aircraft must now be on the ground and stationary.
- The rate at which vehicles consume fuel has been reduced, meaning you can go further on a single tank (reduced to 33% of original value).
- Sniper sway reduced for 'poor' weapon skill level. Sway now only lasts for a couple of seconds for 'gangster' skill level.
- Changed tazer 'reload' animation to a longer one.
- Players can no longer be damaged while being tazed, and for a short time after.
- Rewards for players of the week have been increased.
  - Player of the Week will get $25,000.
  - Cop/criminal/worker of the week will get $10,000.

Other changes
- Added obstacle detection to prevent stolen property items from being dropped inside walls etc.
- /chatcolors now shows the colors for the color codes.
- The maximum ticket/bail has been reduced from $4000 to $3000 and can now be configured without a script update.
- Increased firefighter 'trashcan fire' job event rewards from $500 and 5 score to $4500 and 25 xp/score.
- Many item/service prices reduced.
- When selecting a robbery hideout, ones that are too close to select are now highlighted red.
- Time trial now shows distance to objective.
- Mechanics will not become wanted if they enter a stolen tow truck.
- /thinfo now redirects to /treasurehunt.
- /wank animation is now looped.
- Property sell message now gives details such as price and location.
- 'You have no nearby vehicles that can be unlocked' no longer shows inside interiors, as you can't bring vehicles inside anyway.
- A message is now shown in chat if someone destroys your boombox.
- When placing a boombox, the menu is now shown automatically, rather than having to crouch again.
- Weapon damage action logs now show Seasparrow/Rustler guns instead of saying 'M4' or 'Minigun'.
- The fishing bait item is no longer an inventory item you can specifically select to 'use', it will simply use bait when you cast your line, as it does anyway.
- Vehicle management menu (/v) now shows vehicle status beside 'request vehicle' if the vehicle is impounded or destroyed.
- Certain options in the vehicle management menu (/v) will no longer be available if the vehicle is impounded or destroyed, such as the ability to repair or sell the vehicle.
- The small checkpoint at aircraft/boat request/management/purchase locations can now be used while driving a vehicle.
  - For example, you can drive to the airport in your personal car, enter the checkpoint, request your aircraft, then drive to your aircraft.
- Audio plugin custom music in the club will now stop and start when the world is threatened or if the /setting is changed while in the club.
  - Also, if the setting is disabled or the audio plugin disconnects, the original music will now be restored.
- All prices in the properties script now show as comma-separated values, e.g. $1,234,567 instead of $1234567, making for easier reading.
- Mechanic Tow Truck 'find recoverable vehicle' function no longer has a 1000m search radius; it will find the closest vehicle regardless of how far away it is.
- Improvements to vehicle spawning 'obstruction awareness' logic which should prevent requested vehicles spawning inside walls at the sides of roads (especially in alleyways).
- The fuel gague textdraw has been tweaked to make it less distracting (darker colours and removal of the 'FUEL' text).
- Player stats involving cash (e.g. 'money spent on bribes') now formatted with $ prefix and comma-separated, making easier to read.
- When using Pay 'n' Spray or bribe star pickups, you must now not be visible to cops on the radar in order to use them.
  - This means the higher your wanted level, the further away from cops you must be to use these features.
  - Previously, this was just a simple distance check of 250m for Pay 'n' Spray and 100m for bribe stars.
  - You also can now only use bribe pickups while on foot
- Weapon pickups around the map can now only be picked up if the player has unlocked the weapon (high enough level).
- Code to handle player blips now runs more frequently, which should reduce the chance of players being in your face before you see their blip
- Blip draw distances for SWAT/FBI/CIA increased, as they were too OP.
- Reduced frequency of rain, fog, and sandstorm weather.



- Fixed being able to assist securicar while it was not running.
- Fixed players being jailed if they quit or crashed during city transition while wanted.
- Fixed many player stats (/pstats) not displaying in any category. Also added separate category for mission stats.
- Fixed bad petrol cap position for Glendale.
- Fixed 'Public service assault' crime not specifying who was attacked.
- Fixed 'Supply drop theft' crime not specifying who was robbed.
- Fixed an issue where using /missions to find a Smuggler mission would find a vehicle very far away.
- Fixed Cropduster mission timer starting before the player had control.
- Fixed removing custom property name showing message stating 'property name changed to (blank)'.
- Fixed players being able to move around during duel countdown if they were temporarily frozen when accepting the duel invite (e.g. c-bug detection).
- CSI job event area abandonment detection is now 3D. This means flying/driving over a crime scene (e.g. Gant Bridge when the crime scene is down at Jizzy's) won't mess with the job.
- Fixed job vehicles randomly being 'abandoned' and despawning.
- Fixed paintjob preview text not being cleared when purchased from a gas station.
- Fixed being sometimes unable to tow vehicles because the script was trying to tow vehicles in the same place but in a different world.
- Fixed being able to interact with supervisor/witnesses/suspects in CSI job event from within a vehicle.
- Fixed puking animation would not play after catching a dead fish.
- Fixed players being able to move while they are cuffed and were previously doing a special action animation like /dance.
- Fixed Pay'N'Spray not deducting the required cash for a vehicle repair.
- Fixed ATM dialogs remainning open even if you somehow moved away from the machine while still using it.
- Fixed cops wronglfuly getting jailed for quit to avoid jail if they quitted while arresting a suspect.
- Fixed the response of the vehicle doors and windows control dialogs.
- Fixed players losing money from their bank account when robbed while having less than $1000 in their wallet.
- Fixed drunk level resets when stopped aimming with sniper with maxed out skill.
- Fixed being able to open the gas station services dialog while repairing a vehicle in a gas station.
- Fixed refuel checkpoint being created while the vehicle is not in the gas station area.

- Action log for 'Entered Bank' now specifies which city bank was entered.
- The FPS cap has been removed temporarily, just for today, April the 1st.




- Fixed 'Ban date' not showing in 'You are banned' dialog.
- Fixed /cure (including self-cure) suddenly changing weather if weather was mid-transition.
- Fixed a bug that allowed players to rob any NPC, not just the intended ones in stores.
- Fixed a runtime error (script crash) when selecting fully completed 6-tier achievements in /achievements.
- Fixed 'Vehicles Bought' stat (and therefore 'Pink Slip' achievement) not increasing for boats and planes purchased.
- Fixed 'Intro Startup Music' setting not working because player settings were loaded after login.

Version 1.14.18

BANK WELFARE, INTEREST, AND WEALTH TAX
Just so you know, Welfare, Interest and Wealth Tax are all calculated every 168 minutes played (active play, not just idle). This equates to one game week.

The following changes have been made to these three systems:
- Welfare: Players that have less than $10k total cash will receive a $1k payment. This used to be $500 given to players that have less than $1k.
- Interest: 0.25% interest was previously given on a player's bank balance. It has been increased to 0.75% but only applies to bank accounts with a balance of between $100k and $2m.
- Wealth tax:
   - The threshold for wealth tax to be applied is now $5m. It was previously $10m.
   - Wealth tax was previously calculated based on a player's entire bank balance. It is now only calculated for the amount OVER the wealth tax threshold.
   - The wealth tax rate was previously 2.5% of the player's entire bank balance. It's now 3.5% of the amount OVER the $5m threshold.
   - Before this change, if you had $10m, you'd pay 2.5% of $10m, or $250k. Now it would be 3.5% of $5m, or $175k.
   - Before this change, if you had $50m, you'd pay 2.5% of $50m, or $1.25m. Now it would be 3.5% of $45m, or $1.57m.
- To prevent tax avoidance, players can now only withdraw $100,000 from the bank per 'tax cycle'.
   - It's not even really necessary to withdraw money from the bank, as almost everything can be paid for directly from your bank account.
- All of the above is subject to change based on feedback.

A /tax command has been added which will show the status of the above three systems for your account.
It will show when you can next expect to receive welfare, interest, or wealth tax, and how much it will be.





Helicopter rappelling fixes and improvements:
- When rappelling, you can now hold SPRINT to apply brakes to slow down. Failure to do so might cause you fall damage from landing too fast.
- The helicopter will be forced to stay still while players are rappelling.
- The helicopter no longer has to be almost exactly still to start rappelling.
- Fixed issue where, when rappelling from a helicopter, if the player went below sea level (0 height) they would stop rappelling.
  Generally not an issue except for if rappelling down into Hunter Quarry you'd fall to your death!
- Fixed rope not generating all the way to the ground if started too high.
- If the helicopter dies or is removed, any players rappelling will now end rappelling.
- Pilots can now 'cut the ropes' - e.g. if the helicopter is under attack.

Also new:
- New action logs for medic actions: Heal (self), heal (others), cure (self), cure (others), revive (start), revive (success), revive (fail), revive (cancel).
- When selling fish, the rarity is now shown (this heavily affects price).
- Altimeter can now be set to show in meters instead of feet (/set > MCNR settings > Display).
  - It will also show while in a jetpack.
- 'Building Fire' job event now shows fires left to extinguish.
- Verdant Meadows Airfield is now a purchaseable property with its unique interior.

- You can now rob up to $50k from players (was previously $10k).
  - This should encourage bank account use (no more wealth tax avoidance!) and make holding cash in your wallet a risk again (as it should be).
  - You must crouch while robbing a player to potentially get $50k, otherwise you'll get up to $35k.
- Drive-by shooting is now a 2-star wanted level crime (was 1-star).
- Skater skin level unlocks have been replaced by karate skins.
  - If a player has the karate skin equipped but isn't a high enough level to have unlocked it won't be removed from them.
- When staff clear unoccupied vehicles, trailers attached to occupied vehicles are now excluded from being cleared.
- 'Shooting in Public' (but a drive-by) and 'Drive-by shooting' crimes have a larger detection radius (to match on-foot 'Shooting in Public' crime).
  It's 150m for all guns except silenced pistol which is reduced to 30.
- Minimum/maximum bounty changed from $2k/$50k to $5k/$100k.
- Store robberies, bank robberies, and house robberies have had their payouts increased.
- Fuel price increased by 50%.
- Doubled cash payout for daily objectives (including 50% increase for consecutive days bonus). Also increased score.
- Doubled 'daily login bonus' payout and score.
- When fishing, you can no longer cast the line while an animation is playing.
- Increased fish sell prices, and cash earned from wallet/briefcase/treasure items.
- All fishing system prices are now comma-separated to make easier to read.
- Cuffed suspects can now enter interiors again.
- 'Building Fire' job event now has a larger area around the fire and allows more time to return to the scene of the fire.
- Vehicles acquired via a supply drop can no longer be stored in garages to become a personal vehicle.
- Deposit limits removed from ATM/bank. You can deposit all of your cash at once now.
  - You can enter 'all' in the deposit dialog to deposit all your wallet cash quickly.
- The 'Launch' boat and 'Cargobob' helicopter are now classed as a Military vehicles.
- 1v1 duels now start faster, without so much black screen delay.




- [DISCORD] 'Cop Ratio' in Discord /info command now shows as a percentage, and doesn't break if there's 0 cops.
- Some minor tweaks and fixes to improve the new player experience.
- Fixed Bandito bad refuel checkpoint position.
- Fixed issue where buying a vehicle from another player (/vsell /vbuy) and it was a plane, helicopter, or boat, it would prompt the buyer to select a garage.
  The purchased vehicle would then not show up in the intended Plane/Helicopter/Boat vehicle menus.
  Existing player vehicles have had their storage locations corrected.
- Fixed Daily Login Bonus sometimes not being awarded.
- Fixed 5 score given for cops escorting suspects to jail only being civilian score and not cop XP.
- Fixed 'Crime Scene Investigation' job event prematurely failing due to 'left the area' when chasing the final suspect.
- Fixed Ahab, Virtual and Access tires missing from the list of tires at gas stations.
- Fixed downing/revival still happening in duels even though it was supposedly disabled in a previous update.
- Fixed 'Buy a lotto ticket' daily objective not earned if you're a donator using /lotto to buy a ticket without visiting a store.

Version 1.14.17

WEAPON DAMAGE
Weapon damage values can now be adjusted without a script update or server restart.

Various weapon damage values have been changed:
  - Colt 45, Silenced Pistol, Desert Eagle, M4, and AK-47 damage increased (all ranges and drive-by)
  - All 3 shotguns' damage increased (drive-by)
  - Micro Uzi damage increased (long range)
  - MP5 damage increased (long range) and reduced (mid range)
  - Sniper Rifle and Country Rifle damage increased (all ranges)

All values are subject to change with or without prior notice. Feedback is welcomed on the forums.




- You can now @mention any player in a PM (they won't be alerted).
- Approaching a player with an active Chainsaw will now result in a 'weapon threat' crime.
- Action logs for player damage now shows the amount of damage done, the range, and the remaining health/armour of the victim.
- 'Drive Fast Challenge' daily objective now paired with Free Bird music (audio plugin required).
  - The time for the challenge has been increased from 2 minutes to 4 (to match the music).
  - Also the requirement to not crash has been removed.




- Rollerskater skins have been disabled based on community feedback.
  - Players that had these skins have had their skins set to a hilbilly.
- Players now die immediately in duels without being downed.
- Rustler and Seasparrow can now be entered by players in staff events.
- PSOs (Public Service Offences) now expire after 48 hours rather than 6.




- Fixed 'Player of the Week' list not displaying correctly during city change.
  - This was only a visual issue; rewards were always given correctly.
- Fixed players being able to bypass Sniper 'reload' animation between shots.
- Added additional measures to prevent players attempting to enter vehicles while downed/dying.
- Bribe rejection now logged in action logs.
- Fixed suspects being accused of 'Bribery' crime if a cop offers a bribe and the suspects reject it.
- Fixed certain interiors not included in action logs when being entered/exited.
- Fixed Valet mission completing after parking only 1 vehicle (should be 5).
- Fixed players starting a vehicle test drive while wanted under certain conditions.
- Fixed gas station in Doherty not registering any collision.
  - For example you wouldn't be able to call for a supply drop there as the ground would be 'missing'.

1.15 development is still ongoing and will take some time to get finished.
