Make bank robberies a lot much fun, like when you want to do a bank robbery, you can do it as a heist with your friends and couple people. What you need for a bank heist: 1. Get away car, personal vehicle or one at public. 2. You need 1 / 2 / 3 people to do a bank heist with, rather than doing it alone. 3. You need a satchel charge or bomb. 4. You need at least 3cops online and not AFK to start a bank heist.  Picking bags and going out the same, but you can deposit up to 4 bags in the car (if you are only 2 people you can do 2 only, each person can deposit only 1 bag) and you'll gain 30XP after each robbery. You are gonna need lvl 30+ to do a bank robbery and ofc, some more guards at the bank cause like, it's only one down there

But,
That will cause a million bugs, not because Mike couldn't script it well, its because there's a lot of parameters and things don't go always how we want them to go.
At the moment, when u let new player join our team bank robbery , usually you can't explain him to go to his hideout. And how easy is that ? Imagine that new guy in situation when he have his role in team, it will just cause problems. People will rage, fight , bank will be closed forever for new robberies..

In my opinion , other civils should be able to chase and kill bank robbers before they reach they hideout , so if they get killed, killer gets his bag of money and there is no need to go to hideout.

That way it will be a little more fun on server, as some of us would prefer to wait at hideout

No HyperG is correct. Talking on player side is a good idea. But if i had to script this, i would refuse immediately because for many reasons that who doesn't script will never understand.

It's not so easy as you think. Also we had many problems with this current "simple" bank robbery system, imagine if we would apply your system what can happen.

While talking on a player side is a good idea, I don't like how he delivered his statement starting with the word "but". Bugs are unavoidable as programmers are human beings and they should not be one of a factor to not implement such an idea. I may be as well wrong ^^

I understand it's not easy because I know how it feels to code.

It's not really required for this to be scripted. You can chat with other players and team up to rob the bank together - you each get a cash bag so you all get some cash.

Structured heists are a planned addition for casinos etc. which will be more like GTA V heists in some ways for example requiring setup missions to be completed such as gathering tools and equipment for the job.

As for now the bank robbery works best as it is - simple, with the ability for players to work with or against each other as they please.
